Came to the Stock Exchange to celebrate a friend’s retirement party at peak hour lunch time so had to wait a bit in the queue to order food, which took a while to arrive, which is understandable because they were extremely busy. Unfortunately my food was already cold by the time I got it but it still tasted alright. Service was very friendly and they tried very hard to make customers happy. Good watering hole if you like pubs
Went for lunch with a group of 8. Meals came out quite quickly. I ordered the chicken schnitzel. Generous portions for the price and pretty tasty. We sat downstairs and had view of the kitchen/wait staff from the table. It was off-putting seeing staff eat from plates while you're waiting for your meal. Not a great look. Atmosphere was good, gets busy at lunch time. Lots of big screens to watch sport. I would go back here.
Pretty poor excuse for a "Hawaiian parmigiana" chips came with no salt and were cold. Chicken was scorching hot on the other end of the scale.
Visit the rooftop bar here very regularly even more awesome now the nights are so warm. Has great specials and happy hour. Sadly last couple of visits bar service has been so bad. New girl there moves at the pace of a snail and has no care for customer service. This is a busy bar! Took her twenty minutes to make two margaritas all good with that if she was trying to learn but really it was just an imposition to serve people.
Really good quality pub food. Service was astonishingly quick, food was reasonably priced, hot, and delicious. Had the traditional Aussie pub feed of a beer + a parmi and sitting in the sun was just great! really rate this for a feed or a drink with your buddies
I love the roof top bar here. Open to the stars and all the beauty that Brisbane has to offer. Great music always playing and icey cold beers on tap
The Gin Cherry Bomb cocktail is the only drink I have found so far in the world that doesn't make me feel sick and I can enjoy having a few drinks. Absolutely amazing cocktails !!
Extremely disappointing. Been dropping in here for years, and have to say wouldn't recommend to anyone after today. Has gone down hill, despite polite staff being your saviour. Lunch today, was not advised at time of ordering- no salad, no mash, no veggies and limited gravies. Would have gone elsewhere straight off the bat. Meal arrived and ordinary, not even frozen fish cooked well. Left very disappointed and headed to the other Hotel.
Had an after work party in an upstairs closed off section. Beer was cold so . The acoustics were terrible and you could not have a conversation with someone standing right next you.
Ok for a function space but the service could have been a bit friendlier. Maybe we just got the waitress on her bad day but she gave absolutely nothing.
