Lovely spot. Artificial beach is nice with fresh water. Great waling and cycling trails that are family friendly. Can get a bit busy in summer but get into the trails and all good. Swimming is fine but you won't see your feet!

It is a beautiful place to visit with lovely views of the water. The only problem is that the water is too polluted to swim in in some areas so you need to check the signs to ensure that you are swimming in a safe area.

What a great morning!! Even though it was miserable weather to start with, we thought we’d head out to Ewan Maddock Dam in the sunshinecoasthinterland area and take a look around👀 So glad we did! What a gorgeous little area! You can make the hike as long or as short as you want, we did approximately a 4km return trip. We saw a goanna, wren, water dragon and a King Parrot, so it was definitely worth the morning out. The kids favourite thing to do is looking at the springboard notches in all the massive old stumps and imagining how big the original tree must’ve been 🍃There’s something here for everyone, hiking, horse trails, mountain bike tracks or just having a swim or paddle in the dam. Well maintained with picnic areas and clean flushing toilets! (always better then long drop loo’s) Well worth a day out 🍃💖
