What can I say! This Nepali restaurant is a little gem in the heart of Ashton Town. The sea bass was amazing, crisp skin but very tender inside with a beautiful Nepali sauce on top. The tandoori king prawn was beautiful and so tender and the lamb curry was a blast of spices and flavour. Absolutely mouth watering food. The owner, chef and employees were also so friendly and welcoming. The chef came to meet us as Well and I had nothing but compliments to the chef. Absolutely fantastic place. If you want to taste real Nepali food and to experience Nepalese hospitality, I will 100%recommend Everest Cafe! I will definitely go back.
It's a Nepalese restaurant with Nepalese vibe with music and art. The MOMO's veg/chicken are authentic Nepalese taste which reminds me of food back home. Tareko macha is again proper Nepalese taste. We normally have small size fish straight from the river in Nepal but big version is great. This was a great place to celebrate our Nepalese New Year 2079.
Food is absolutely stunning. Great to have something different in Tameside. So much choice. Staff really friendly. Looking forward to going back and trying some of the other menu items. Breakfast sounds amazing.
Everest Cafe truly is Ashton's best kept secret. Authentic Nepalese cuisine cooked from scratch every time. From their steamed Momo's to the traditional local favourites of Sekwa Chicken and fiery Chowila lamb everest really are going to put Ashton on the map with their absolutely knock out dishes. Everything is homemade in house by their expertly trained chef who clearly has a big love and passion for the food of home back in Nepal. The curries are layered with flavours, herbs, spices, meat and vegetables expertly blended to create individual and unique flavour profiles that will leave you craving another visit every time. Smoky marinated chicken cooked in the tandoor to melt in the mouth lamb that's been cooked low and slow hours. This really is a hidden gem. And not forgetting their hand stretched naan breads, so thin and bubbly with a perfect crisp and lightly brushed with ghee. You can't go wrong. Also serving local Nepalese beer Ghurkha to wash down those fiery spices and quench your thirst. Everest Cafe really should be on the top of your to do list.
Best place for an evening meal in Ashton and will definitely be back! Everest Lamb curry and Makhani chicken curry were amazing, asked for a milder spice and they tailored it well. Very authentic and good bang for your buck! Get lots of meat in the curry. This picture doesn't do it justice, the portions were actually quite big in person : And I would recommend the MOMO chicken as well, very flavourful.

Wow! The food here is really exceptional. My husband, who is great cook, said it was some of the best he had eaten. Genuine Nepalese food made with love. We thoroughly enjoyed all of our dishes and the owners are ever so warm and welcoming. Everything is fresh, colourful and packed full of flavour. The prices are very reasonable too. This place is any Foodies delight, would highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again with friends and family. Thanks to all at Everest Cafe :

What a perfect place for a pleasant informal meal. The food is absolutely lovely and the staff friendly and chatty. We had momo veg dumpling starters, Himalayan chicken curry and Everest lamb curry, all delicious. I highly recommend this place.Food: 5/5
