Yesterday my mother had a fall in her bathroom and it took staff 4 hours to find her. they picked her up and put her in a wheelchair. She was not assessed by a doctor but by a physio who was more concerened about a bruise on heg leg and knee. it wasn't till later they decided to send her for an xray. They were going to put her in a maxi taxi and send her to Stawell hospital.None were available so they then called a non emergency ambulance. when the ambulance arrived they couldnt locate her. one of the staff had decided to take her for a haircut. She was transferred to Stawell hospital for xrays where she was found to have a fractured hip. she was transferred to Ballarat base hospital where she is undergoing surgery this afternoon. This is not the first incidence of neglect. Double doses of pills. Not making sure she has actually swallowed her medication. Just not bloody good enough. We dont want her going back there!!!!!

One of the best retirement/nursing homes around the area. Excellent, professional, very friendly and helpful staffs. Very good accommodations and personal care that suites people with different needs. Facilities all very well setup. They provides lots of different indoor and outdoor activities for residents.

MY MOTHER HAS LIVED IN INDEPENDENT LIVING AT EVENTIDE FOR MANY YEARS. IT NEVER CEASES TO AMAZE ME, THE WONDERFUL CARING ATTITUDE OF ALL THE STAFF AT EVENTIDE OVER THESE YEARS TOWARD HER AND THE OTHER RESIDENTS. I WOULD GO AS FAR AS TO SAY THEY GO BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY, TO GIVE A VERY SAFE AND SECURE ATMOSPHERE, GIVEN SO FREELY AND LOVINGLY AS IF THEY WERE PART OF THE FAMILY. THIS IS SO REASSURING AS I LIVE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF AUSTRALIA AND ONLY AM ABLE TO VISIT OCCASIONALLY . SO THANK YOU ONE AND ALL FOR YOUR WONDERFUL SERVICE TO MY MOTHER AND MANY OTHERS, AND THE PEACE AND CONTENTMENT YOU HAVE GIVEN ME IN KNOWING THAT SHE COULDN'T BE IN A MORE CARING AND LOVING PLACE. FIVE STARS +++++++
