I had a bit of a fancy do to attend & as I always get my eyelash extensions done with Tamara & love how much she understands me & listens to what I want, I decided to try her for makeup & then for convenience get my hair done in the same spot. I ordered curls but they were able to get the desired effect I wanted with a wash & blowdry so it was less expensive for me by the time I wrapped up.  I felt like a million squillion bucks & was complimented on my hair & makeup all night. Tamara & my hair stylist listened to what I wanted every step of the way & I was just soooo happy with both services! So much so that two days later, I’m still trying to preserve my do to be cute for just a little longer!

The team at Esteem hair beauty and spa were amazing! I can’t come do them enough. I went in with dulled hair and come out feeling beautiful! They listened and delivered 200%! I was constantly checked on, checked if I needed anything and made to feel comfortable! Booked my next appointment before leaving. It’s definitely somewhere I’ll be visiting on a regular basis! Ridiculous price increase  I had foils and a style haircut on 10 December 2022. The hair colour was fantastic and I was happy with the cut. Before starting the styling I was informed that prices have gone up and if I wanted a quote. I declined. Big mistake!!!! For 3 quarter head of foils and style hair cut I paid $353 no other treatment. For full head foils and style hair cut on 4 May 2022, I paid $212 no other treatment. I did not anticipate an increase of $141. This is almost an increase of 67%. I am aware everything is getting more expensive but I thought this was a bit excessive. When paying I expressed my surprise at the charge. The response by stylist and management was that is was not just a haircut, that it was a style haircut. I had a style hair on both occasions and was not satisfied with their explanation. I was extremely upset about it. I will not return again. This is absolutely no reflection on the staff member that did the colouring and styling. She did a fantastic job.Service:&nbsp;Hairstyling

The customer service is very poor. They overbook and overcharge and treat you like you are invisible.  Last time I was there they left me sitting in the chair with soaking wet hair for 40 minutes. In that time not one person acknowledged me. I wasn’t told an estimate time. I wasn’t even offered a glass of water at the very least.  I was told it was because it was Christmas time. I completely sympathize and understand Christmas would be a busy time, however this is not the first time this has happened to me at this salon. The staff are always run off their feet, whether it’s Christmas time or not. They have way too many clients and are so busy they don’t even have time to be polite. There has been another visit where I was asked if I had somewhere to be after the appointment and I mistakenly said no so they me left in the chair for 30mins. My hair was so wet there was a puddle on the floor behind me. The young girl was then yelled at in front of me for not drying off my hair enough.  The director Allison is very rude and combative. She treats her staff so poorly and it makes the entire experience of being at the salon very awkward and uncomfortable. The only times I’ve enjoyed being at that salon is when she hasn’t been there.  On another occasion I went in to get my makeup and hair done for a special occasion. The makeup artist ran a long way overtime and as a result she was made to blow dry my hair. She clearly felt flustered and uncomfortable, I don’t think hair was her area of expertise. She was ripping chunks out of my hair and then was yelled at by the director in front of me. I felt so sorry for her.  I have given this salon the benefit of the doubt so many times but have finally realized you can get a much better service for half the price at other Penrith salons, and they take half the time too.  The beauty services are decent, the lady who waxes my eyebrows is lovely and always quick. But I would not recommend getting your hair done here.

Good, but expensive... They have some high senior stylists working so I get it, and I haven't had a bad haircut before, but sometimes it can cost up to $400 and I just can't afford it... Also the wait times are quite long; last time it took me half an hour to get seated and another half an hour for the cut to actually start. I have also had my eyebrows and makeup done in the past and the artist ignored my requests for natural and did her own thing. I wasn't too happy. Good haircuts, but not my price range. This salon is soooo overpriced and definitely not worth the hype. I had a morning appointment and I came in a couple of minutes before and I was waiting for over half an hour to be seen! And when I was finally seen to it wasn't even the stylist that I was booked in with! I saw 4 different people for a 1 hour appointment! 3 different people washed my hair!!!! How many people does it take to wash one persons hair!!! And then my 'stylist' took two minutes to cut my hair and blow-dry and that was it! They charged $280 for that service! Like yes the colour was gorgeous but I could get the same result for a fraction of the price somewhere else!I was honestly disgusted and very dissatisfied with my service! I came to your salon yesterday for Hollywood Waves and your stylists have absolutely RUINED my hair from curling it with the tongs over and over again. I have just washed my hair and it doesn't even smell like fresh washed hair, it smells like burnt hair. I can't imagine the damage you've done to it. It was a simple request from a well-established salon and I'm so upset with what you've done. I have naturally curly hair and you've just destroyed it.Service:&nbsp;Hair treatments

If i could put zero stars i would. I was told on the phone that my appointment would cost $100 plus the $50 deposit which was reasonable to me as it was within my current budget. I sit in the chair and they tell me it would be around $400. They could clearly see I was a minor 16 and felt as though they took advantage of that. Not only did i feel embarrassed and upset that i couldn’t afford it, i lost $50. I know that doesn’t seem like a lot to most people but as a 16 year old who gets paid $11 an hour, it is a lot. I cried alone for about an hour out of embarrassment and shame. I would not recommend any young people who are money tight and more sensitive to visit this salon.

This place is ridiculously overpriced, i was quoted $460 for a full head of foils I did want to leave but I had already paid a deposit without getting a quote and my friend was quoting $560 for to go from blonde to a little bit lighter, her hair is long but she was already very blonde. I got them down to $380 with a half head of foils. The owner or boss was very rude coming over every 5 minutes telling my stylist to not put too much in because its only $380, my friend and I also felt uncomfortable listening her yell across the room saying “I NEED FOILS WHERE ARE MY FOILS” at her apprentices. Save yourself the time and effort and do not use Esteem Hair for your hair extensions.  I booked an appointment with Esteem to redo my tape extensions after my usual Stylist at a different stopped working.  I was quoted $150 to retape and reapply 2 x packets of extensions however when I got to the register I was charged $275 which I just paid for and left.  The placement of the extensions were too close to my face and way to high up that they were visible. On top of this, I listened to the hairdressers at Esteem Beauty and did not wash my hair for atleast 2 days after the extensions were reapplied however that did not stopped them falling out after 5 days.  I took some photos and raised it with Stylists at Esteem. They did offer to fix up the ones that had fallen out but I was so upset that I'd already paid so much and they didn't even last 1 week that I declined and booked at another Salon.  I ultimately went back to Esteem and talked over issue with them in person. To which the reply was "oh that's never happened before" which was the end of the conversation.  I am disappointed with the outcome and really upset that I paid so much for a service that clearly wasn't worth it.Service:&nbsp;Hair extensions
