Story

At Essendon Vet Clinic it’s all about pets! Our patients come first, that’s why if we don’t respond immediately it’s not because we don’t care, we are just busy caring for those that needs us most of all.

Please note we are unable to offer medical consultations online. For all questions concerning your pet's health we would prefer to speak with you in person so we can ask questions and evaluate your pet’s health needs appropriately. You can contact us on 03 9375 1039.

Our healthcare team would love to hear from you no matter how trivial or significant your concern about your cat, dog, rabbit, guinea pig, ferret, rat, mouse, reptile or bird maybe. We would much rather speak with you than have you worrying unnecessarily at home so please don't hesitate to contact us.

Our Facebook page is a place for Pet lovers to interact with us and with one another. Essendon Vet Clinic would like to protect the integrity of this community. We ask that all comments and uploaded images remain both relevant and respectful to everyone.

This clinic is fantastic for your pets! Their loving caring nature is seen in every interaction each staff member has with animals. They have recently had a renovation and now have very separate designated areas for cats and dogs. It was very calming to take my cats into a clinic room that dogs had not been in before so no ‘doggy smell’ to upset them. The staff and facilities are second to none! Thank you to all the wonderful staff at this veterinary clinic, for all the loving work that you do!
We love the team at Essendon vets and have been going for 6years. They have been great caring for our 10yo GSD and now a new puppy. We always feel listened to and provided with options for care. They were great during the lockdown and we are happy to see them back on site after the renovations.
Having just moved to the area and realising I needed some medication for my elderly dog I called this morning to see if I could have an appointment today 7.9.22. I was told I could have an appointment but then made to feel terrible for running out of the medication and next time I should get it from my previous vet as if I was neglectful. I have 2 rescue dogs and this one is 16 she is very well looked after, we have just moved house unfortunately these things happen. There is absolutely no need to make people feel like that. Looks like I will continue to drive and visit the lovely staff at Seddon Vet Hospital.
A huge massive thank you to Dr Alithia & all of the staff. I can't express & thank them enough for all of their support. They are extremely compassionate caring & kind. I deeply appreciate all of the staff at the clinic, as they have given & shown, such support for my pet kitty Havana & myself. They're all truly amazing angels . Nerida & Havana
They are absolutely amazing here! We took in a rescue puppy and they have been so incredibly helpful. Would highly recommend all of the vets here, and the staff even would even call just to see how he was doing de
Doctor Liz was great. Hmm... Actually do you refer to a vet as a doctor? Like I guess she's an animal doctor, but does she like put down "dr" on her documents or "ms"? Anyways she was great with our cat "Precious" and man, our cat isn't exactly the most friendly with new people. The place is kind of easy to miss though. Like if you miss the exit before the underpass, it's a pain to get back there, so yeh make sure you stay on the left, or you'll have to do like 2 illegal U turns to get back there. Otherwise, great place, they've even got a big scale to weigh heavier animals and your mum... Haha sick burn. But that's ok, if you're an animal I bet they've got something at the vet to treat that too.
Amazing service, great communication and very caring staff. Highly recommend.
So wonderful...saw my Daughter with baby kitty in emergency and were able to assure her and refer on to Lort Smith. We managed to save our little girl
