Absolutely disgusting treatment and WRONG diagnosis. Took my Great Dane here wasn’t eating and a vet referred me here as her white blood count up. I asked them PLEASE ensure you wipe her with a bum wipe after urinating as she has a hooded vulva and I had spent thousands and this was the only thing keeping it at bay. She was there 2 1/2 days. They didn’t tell me there was a visiting time and she completely stresses at vets. A vet/nurse don’t know which told me that she only had 1 or two weeks to live! This is going on an ultrasound, they hadn’t got the samples they took back. I decided to bring her home. They were quick to want their payment of $6500. Plus they gave me antibiotics because, she had got a UTI! Noone wiped her. They also put her on tablets causing her to be extremely thirsty, hungry and wetting herself while sleeping. I had to ring them for results, all clear. We are now 10 weeks down the track and she is chasing seagulls on the beach. Don’t bother going here, some nice staff but clearly shouldn’t be giving that sort of comment without medical proof!!!
Thank you to the team at Advanced Vetcare, Kensington, for looking after our cat, Cooper. It was so tough seeing him in a medical crisis like he was in. However, your responsiveness, thoroughness, and open, frequent communication could not have been better. We thank you so much for your diligence and also your kindness to Cooper, and to us.
I have nothing but good things to say about Advanced Vet Care. We first met the team here 18 months ago when our boy Ripple was diagnosed with Addison’s Disease. They were so quick to pick up on what other vets couldn’t and providing him with amazing care. We ended up back here again this week when our boy became really unwell. Dr Warren, Alycia, Nicole and others were so compassionate, kind, caring and skilled in their care for Ripple in what ended up being his end of life care. Thank you so much team, we really appreciate you making our boy comfy and being consistent in your communication and care despite how busy you are!
Our black Labrador Hazel was very unwell when we arrived at Advanced Vetcare in Kensington. Her lameness was very distressing and I didn’t expect she’d recover!!nHazel’s treatment was explained clearly by each of the 3 wonderful Vets and their teams that looked after her during her stay.nThankfully she has recovered to the stage that we now have her back home with us.nWe really appreciate all that was done for Hazel.
The wonderful AVC team recently looked after my blocked kitty. Thank you to Drs Georgia and Tara for your compassionate care. I appreciated the regular updates and kindness in what could have been a stressful time. He usually doesn’t eat in hospital but he was eating well and smoochy. Thank you to all the nurses and reception staff too, your hard work does not go unnoticed! He is recovering well fingers crossed so thank you!
