Very impressed with Red Peppers. I’m fussy when it comes to Indian food being Indian, I know what to expect, most Indian restaurant serve pretty much the same dishes, they’re either too oily or the lamb/chicken is ridiculously massive and overcooked! But, everything from here was bang on! 2*Popadoms came with the order for free which usually you have to pay extra for on takeout. I had the meat samosa to start - was very impressed, the pastry was nice & crispy but the meat I wasn’t expecting the spice as they’re normally not spicy, but it was a nice spice and not too overpowering I guess these are brought in and not made on site?. I then had the Balti garlic achari with mushrooms similar dish I’ve had before, everything else on the menu seems the same as other restaurants but I’m sure the chefs offer their own twist. Once again very impressed with this dish, started off having less than half to start off with as I noticed the pieces of chicken and lamb were quite big I prefer bite size pieces, so had to cut them down so it would fit in my naan, but it was very moreish and had the rest of it! Could taste a few bits of pickle in it and the occasional chunk of garlic. The sauce it was cooked in was very nice and cleaned up with the remaining naan bread & fries. Had a garlic naan bread as well, there’s some hint of sugar in it, which is annoying and unexpected. Mint yoghurt & chilli sauce were provided and both of these are very nice, yoghurt mint was a nice consistency and moreish, whereas the chilli one had a nice kick to it. Fries were hot when they arrived, however had some bits that tasted like it was over cooked or from the old batch of previously cooked chips. Overall, will be ordering again and hopefully visit to eat in. Highly recommended. Only took a picture of the starters, should have taken a pic of the mains, but trust me it was bang on.
What an amazing restaurant. First time here and so impressed. Food delicious and hot and staff were lovely. Will deffo be using this as our goto restaurant x can't wait to take the family to try it

We were a party of 14 adults and one child. The restaurant was very busy, but we were met straight away , to give our orders. Despite us being a large party, our meals were bought out together, the food was beautifully presented, piping hot, and service with a smile. Food was absolutely delicious. Will be visiting again, as it was by far, one of the best Indian meals we have had. Must mention the Onion Bhajees..fantastic. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in and out of doorways.
Amazing food as always love this Indian it always tastes just as good as a takeaway as well, highly recommend as the best in Brierley hill/Dudley, staff always helpful and friendly you do bring your own drinks here just so you are aware! Miss this Indian since I moved from the area!

Been here a few times now and had takeaways, every time has been faultless. Husband loves the warm red onion sauce with the poppadoms. I always have prawn balti and there is plenty of prawns. Son has cheese nan and he says its like pizza, he loves pizza so a great compliment! The shop next door sells most booze so you can take your own.
What an amazing place,came across this gem by chance,staff were wonderful could not do enough for us. Even organised a lift back to our hotel when we could not get a tax. These people no how to give great customer service which in itself nowadays is very rare and hard to get. Food was fresh and excellent quality and reasonably priced.will be back again. Big thank you to Simon for bringing us home you saved the day.
Really very good indeed, food excellent, staff helpful and friendly, prices about right, take your own alcohol. Car park at rear. My new go to place.
What's happened? A couple years ago we made a review on this restaurant and could not recommend it enough to any one that likes Indian food. We are not big fans of takeaway food, in our opinion its not quite the same, but we found this restaurant to be good , but our latest experiences have not been good . Our last takeaway a few months ago we had missing items and quality of food was substandard , but we gave it ago again a couple of days ago, good points - rice was good, nan bread lovely - but 'Essence Special ?' - No lamb, no sheek kebab and not semi dry? chicken tika WAS in the curry but I'd honestly say there was one piece that was cut into minuet pieces, we actually laughed at it . Come on Essence your so much better than this!!!
