Esplanade Hotel

Not my first time here but thank you to the manager who looked after my stay. It made my reason for staying not so sad how you went out of your way. Much appreciated. Love the character of this hotel. Will be back again!

Old style pub many memories of going there. Kept uniquely as was. Great food and staff. Amazing views well worth visiting.

Excellent location. Room spacious. A little bit dated but overall a very nice place to stay. Only criticism is room fridge makes a constant high humming noise - just need to figure out how to turn off!

Reasonable food. Lovely heritage building. BEWARE the surcharges if visiting on a public holiday. They are legal - but not advertised anywhere, just added to your bill.

Nice place to stay. Handy to most things. We had the smaller room, a bit tight. I'm guessing historic status limits changes so a bit impractical in design but a nice friendly old feel to it.

The staff are very nice and friendly. Food selection was awesome and price is good. We celebrated my daughters 7th birthday there and she loved it. We will be back there for sure.

Paid in advance for a set menu Xmas lunch. Worst dining experience I've had. Several items had been replaced without any notice, food was sub standard for normal pricing let alone the expensive Xmas pricing. Staff were disorganised to the point that it felt like a faulty towers episode. Will not be returning.
