I had a wonderful nature walk along a number of the well marked multi-use trails. As I strolled through towering gums I was serenaded by a multitude of amazing bird songs. I counted 6 Koalas in the and was greeted by a pair of Emu in the hills at the east side. Bring a picnic and enjoy a wonderful day. Remember there is a $12 per car entry fee that can be purchased online of you can park just outside the park and walk in at no charge.

After taking our labradoodle for a long walk in Belair national park. We thought wouldn't it be nice to pop into the caravan park next door to pick up a brocher for future camping. We got half way across the car park where there was a man who came from the house attached to the office who abruptly demanded that we shut our dog up. My dog was in the car with the window open for air. He then carried on shouting at my husband asking how long we were going to leave the dog barking. We had got out of the car and walked 7 steps at the most. ( my dog is now not only barking at his dog but worried about this ranting man). We couldn't even get the words out, that we just wanted a brocher to stay at the caravan park. Well we left before the situation got out of hand or before my husband lost his temper. We would have loved to have come stay with our children, but I will now never return. We are seasoned national park campers with a camping permit, if this is the parks way of customer service I would kindly recommend that the gentleman should look at his people skills and have a really good think about changing his profession.

Its really easy to track animals here with all the fresh prints of Belair National Park.
