Pretty shocking carpark. Despite other reviews there is very clear signage that they do not accept payWave, however, it’s 2022: payWave and contactless payments are the bare minimum for businesses. We were parked for 3 hours and charged a pretty steep $30, especially high considering car parks nearby such as Wilson are $24 for a full day.
Online booking system is rubbish. Paid online to "save time and money". When I got to the boom gate and entered the pin code 4 times it kept saying "invalid". Had to sit there wasting time and holding people up until the person on the intercom let me through.
Closes at 7pm on a week night, couldn't get my car out... nobody answered the emergency number, nobody answered the emergency intercom system, the card reader for the opening front doors didn't work and the eftpos feature didn't work... 7 people were in the same suitation.... bad experience...
Don't be put off by negative, unfair reviews of this Car Park. I just used it. Addressing the complaints. 1. it is clearly stated at the entrance that 'pay wave is not accepted', so use c/c or book online. 2. I parked on Level 5 which was fine because the lift is fast n convenient. 3. Parking spaces are adequate for yr average vehicle. 4. I found the carpark clean and poplular 5. Location is fantastic- in the middle of the CBD and it is secure. 6. Customer assistance answered my call within 10 seconds and were helpful. 7. Overnight rates at $15 for up to 12 hours were the best in Adelaide.I was happy I was not misled by negativity. Try it and add yr review
DO NOT PARK HERE. This is by far, the worst car park in Adelaide. The fact there is absolutely no clear or noticeable signage around when entering the car park that only cash or PHYSICAL card is available for payment is a disgrace. I'm absolutely embarrassed for the company that they are unable unwilling? to put in machines that accept paywave. Several people today also had multiple issues with paying for parking.
Would prefer to give no stars! the boom gate allowed people to enter once the car park was full causing a backlog of cars from the top down. The layout is so tight, we were stuck for around 25-30mins while we waited for people to make there way down to the bottom the top two levels have one entry/ exit ramp making it incredibly unsafe in an emergency and making todays exit even more difficult A lot of unhappy people this morning! There is no way to contact a staff member from the boom gate so after phoning and waiting on hold for a customer service rep with no answer we had to pay to exit. At one point I saw a lady get out of her car and walk up to the next level to see what was happening!! Very unhappy!
We got locked in over night. Did not see the closing hour sign so small. Next morning we could not get the car out!!!!!! I was totally fuming. Rung this no. No one there. No one in the office. Almost had a nervous break down. And I'm not exaggerating °°°°° $69 for o/n Park...ok... half yours half ours we'll wear that. Tram ride. Then $38 taxi home. Was not a pleasant evening out.
Beware, this car park does not take paywave and requires a physical card or cash. And does not display any signs on the way in warning you. I got trapped in and while trying to find a way out another 3 people had the same issue.
This car park is so tight and expensive. Most of the times this car park is full and then you could get stuck on the top floor and would have to go wrong way and make so many cars wait. There are so many other nicer car parks nearby!
I had to drive in to the city recently during the day and as I was unable to find any on street parking so I gave up looking and parked here. The first available park was on level 6, I think the first 4 floors were all reserved parks. When I went to pay for my car park just over 2 hours I was shocked at the price, $28 is absolute highway robbery! Consequently this was the first and the last time that I would use this car park! I’m not surprised to see that I’m not the only person to be unhappy about this overly expensive car park, the price certainly doesn’t encourage people to come in to the city!
