They are famous for the emperor puffs, but they offer so much more. I purchased a variety of classics like egg tarts and walnut butter cake. However they also had matcha cake and other more modern recipes. Definitely worth a try to eat in or takeaway.
Cheap and good!!! There have been many trendy shops that get really popular for a faze of time, however the Emperor's Puff has been like this forever. This is with good reason too. Amazing taste in the custard and the pastry is soft and fluffy. Amazingly cheap too.
Always a long line when I walked by before by but today there was only a couple of people, so finally had a chance to try. Pastry was piping hot and the filling wasn’t too sweet. Definitely recommend a try if the line isn’t too long.

Tiny pockets of custard filled goodness! There is generally a long queue to get them, but the the queue moves pretty quick. It is a sight to watch the Girl at the counter manage the puffs and serving the people. Don't eat the puffs while it's just out of the machine, you'll burn your tongue
Everyone goes crazy for the fresh custard chestnut-shaped puffs, but the hidden star at Emperor's Garden? the egg tarts located inside the shop! Super flaky crust filled with smooth and creamy egg pudding-like filling. The crust has a nice bite and the best part is the super low price.
