I went here with my friends late one night looking for tea and dessert. We saw the display case of all these nice cakes and knew this was the right place for us. We ordered at the counter then sat at the large booths. My friends bought a green tea. Ee ordered the pandan and coconut cake and the Thai milk tea cake. The cajes and tea were brought out promptly and served on woodem boards. The pandan cake was the winner with a fluffy sponge and fresh coconut jelly on top. The Thai milk tea had a nice sponge too but we prefered the coconut flavour. My friend also ordered coconut jelly which was in a takeaway box. The jelly was shaped like ducks. We were feeling peckish and ordered deep fried tofu. There were around 10 pieces and were a bit bland and needed the sweet chilli sauce
If I move to Australia from America, this restaurant will be the reason. Y'all do everything right from the tin cups to serving the water in a glass bottle. The pictures do no justice. You have to order the papaya salad and the stews hit the spot on this chilly day. The sticky rice in a bag is just like how mom does it. The rice was steamed perfectly. The consistency and taste upon first bite will make you want to scream for more. Come try for yourself.
Back to my favorite Thaitown restaurant, yeah! I have been keeping oder take away food from there for 1 yr when I was living nearby in 2017. They have very valuable lunch special and dinner special menu. price range is from8.9 to 13, which is pretty cheap in city of Sydney
This is the epitome of Thai Street food experience with a welcoming ambience. Every dish is meticulously prepared with fresh ingredients and the aroma wafting from the kitchen makes me salivating with anticipation. Very friendly team who welcome you with genuine smile and politeness. The menu is inexpensive considering the fresh produce they use. I love their green papaya salad, fresh and refreshing with just the right amount of spicy taste to please most palate. Great place for families as there's enough small dishes to share. They do have desserts of mainly oriental cuisine. There's wheelchair accessible entrance but I didn't notice a lavatory. There's street parking and the closest public parking is at World Square shopping centre. Central Station and Tramway isn't far from this restaurant. Absolutely must visit and try as single or a group.
Nice food I tried the $5 thin rice noodle beef soup and the deep fried tofu. It’s great price for value. And the waitress and waiter are friendly.
Food is nice but service is below average. Portion is average too. Lunch $9.9 deal is good. Typical thai restaurant with nothin special
I was drawn by their $5.90 specials but the quantity of food is quite minimal despite having the right flavours. There are definitely better deals to be had on Campbell Street.
Great Cafe, I came for late night Coffee and Desert. Super friendly staff, my desert was amazing great for after dinner date for desert n coffee. Also they accept #ApplePay #AndroidPay #SamsungPay which is great. The decor of the cafe is awesome probably one of the best in Thai Town. Whether you want something to take away or sit in really worth visiting.
Thai restaurant...food is pretty good. Genuine Thai...not westernized. A little cheaper than some of the other Thai restaurants in the area. Reasonable service. Food/drink combos as well.
Amazing food with affordable price, especially on the lunch deals! It's from 11 to 4.
