Always a lovely meal at Embassy XO, whether it’s leisurely snacks and drinks in the bar, yum Cha on the weekend or a long evening of delicious food and beautiful ambiancennHave sampled our way through the menu on several occasions and the only item that didn’t quite hit the mark was the steak. While cooked medium rare and beautifully presented, the tenderness just wasn’t there.nnThe duck and lamb curries are a must try with tenderness and an intricate flavour pairing that wows! For a simple snack the pork sandwiches with an ice cold beer can’t be beat.nnExtensive list of wine, cocktails and adult beverages to keep you coming back for more good times and leisurely evenings.

Embassy XO is easily one of the best lunch spots on the Sunshine Coast. We came for the yum cha lunch, which had a great mix of classic dumplings and more modern Asian plates. The service was warm, attentive and genuinely friendly. Overall, an outstanding lunch experience and fantastic value for the quality – we’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend Embassy XO to anyone visiting Sunshine Beach.

3/5nnWe recently dined at XO and noticed some clear changes, including a new chef and quite a few new staff members. The service was warm and attentive, and the team did a great job on the floor.nnThe food, however, feels like it’s transitioning from what was once a refined 5-star dining experience to something more accessible and budget-focused. While this may be a practical move to navigate quieter periods, it does change the overall feel of the restaurant.nnStill an enjoyable evening, but a noticeable shift from its previous elevated standard.

The taste was nice but the size was so tiny! It was the equivalent to a child's serve and yet they call it a larger plate.nI don't appreciate when restaurants do ths so that you purchase more food. One larger plate should be enough for one adult.nnOn my second visit I actually needed to request salt because both meals had no flavour. Ive asked for salt only once before in my life.nnThere won't be a third visit.nCould explain why the restaurant was empty

Phenomenal food and staff - highly recommend the share plates - and lots of them for all the flavours - faultless!
