Having a bakery on your street open until 10pm every night boasting such a vast array of sweet treats is seriously dangerous for ones waistline. I’m a regular connoisseur of the lemon tart but also quite partial to the gingerbread person and the honey joy when it’s available. I am not a fan of the biscuits and nor do I recommend the sticky date pudding cupcake
All three of us agreed that this place has really nice coffee, and the cookie and vanilla slice were both exceptionally good. Great location, plenty of out door seating.
Nice local shop in Elwood. They serve a whole range of pastries and bakeries. The vanilla slice was delish - the vanilla cream was super creamy and light! The cinnamon bun was just a lil bit too hard. The strawberry and banana smoothie was yummy but the freddo cappuchino was a no no for my liking it was very bitter and too foamy.
One of our favorite bakeries. We love their pies and sausage rolls. My daughter loves the quiches. Always nice service!
I felt they have everything! Lots variety pie, pre made pastries, sweet and savory. Friendly staff, hot chocolate, coffee, different drinks, lots choices. They only close at 9 pm, fantastic place to get any pastry that you need. Price is very reasonable. Delicious food with nice seating area outside.
One of my most favourite spots, I always visit this place when I am in Elwood, a fantastic selection of cakes, pastries, pies, bread. Love their pavlova slice, black forest, tge Vietnamese roast pork rolls, chunky meat pies and coffee these are things I have tried and tested and happy to vouch for them. Next time I am in I will remember to take some pics.
Delicious, tasty breads, genuine staff and a feel of Europe. I have taken the family for trips to the beach close to them before, just so that we could buy bread, lunch or dessert there. Love it!
The tea was good, but both bakery items bought to go with afternoon tea were old. I took bite of Nutella croissant and then looked over it to see if any part was soft enough to eat. Nope, so I binned it. The other pastry item with custard was dry and pastry stiff. Something like $12 for both pastry items wasted. The American soursough loaf wasn't bad, but nothing like woodfrog or other bakeries that make a nice sourdough
The food here is excellent. We regularly travel 45-60 mins to Elwood simply because their bakery treats are the best, and not expensive either! Highly recommend if you haven't been
One of the best bakeries I've ever visited! I will go out off way just to buy a slice of the blueberry cheesecake which is only $5 a slice and delicious
