Great value for money, but the place could use a touch up. The outside beer garden is arranged without thought with tables thrown together. The staff are nice and the price of beer and food are cheap. The price here for a big breakfast is surprisingly $10 and I will be back to try it.
Lovely venue, had a really cool vibe and I enjoyed the open mic night a lot, there were so many talented performers and I like to support local talent. Menu is varied and the Japanese fried chicken was delicious. Only downside was there were a bunch of children making a lot of noise, which did detract from the experience somewhat.
Nice bar with friendly staff. Free music most nights of the week. Food and drink prices are very reasonable.
The place had a good vibe to it. Pool table, footy on the TV. But I would never go back there. I went with my partner and a few friends last night. There were not much food avaliable on the menu because they have ran out of ingredients e.g. lamb, for the lamb sovlaki. The burgers were very meaty and salty. My coke didn't even taste like coke. The chips that came with the parma was hard.
Great bar for all ages. Live music some nights, pool tables etc. Great way to meet the locals
Nice bar in a quiet area. Lots of seating/good menu. Only disappointment that we were charged for a cup of tap water.
$12 parma night at the Elwood Lounge is simply the best!! Awesome price for a yummy, hearty dish. Thursday nights have never been better. Also the smashed Avo with poached eggs in top is a brilliant way to enjoy a weekend brunch, and it's also only $12 and absolutely delicious. The vegetarian big breaky is also tasty and filling! Oh and the Sunday roast is warming and scrumptious!
Wednesday night open mic night, $10 burgers and an $8 long neck beer. Really can’t go wrong. Food was good and service friendly. Got a nice backpacker vibe about the place with a couple of pool tables and a outdoor garden/courtyard
$10 weekend breakfast, absolutely unbeatable!! To add, the selection of hot sauces are better than any venue around, which, if you’re anything like me, makes a meal. Outdoor area is perfect, and inside with two pool tables is very good at night. Only bit to add for breakfast, would be, salt and pepper grinders and bit more love for coffees
Stopped off on our Sunday morning cycle ride, having noticed the Big Brekkie deal on a previous visit. Well worth the detour for this amazing, good value, full on Breakfast. Helpful friendly service too, seems inexplicable that we were the only ones in there on a Sunday morning. The long black coffee I had was also excellent.
