El Puerto Brazilian BBQ Restaurant

Very disappointed. I have been to many Churrasco BBQ's throughout the eastern states of Australia and my best friend and his wife are chefs from Brazil so I am pretty confident i know what the service, flavour and dishes to expect. El Puerto was near the total opposite of my past experiances. Meat: Dont know what was going on with it all. Meat comes out, they cut the outside off and realise it raw so it goes back to the coals. Happened too often. I didn't receive the cinimon pineapple (came out 3 times but never got to my table), no prawns, no pork collar. Sides: The rice was terrible (home brand rice where you add water and put in the microwave would have been a safer option). Chimichuri no flavour just the full taste of olive oil. Drinks: waitress forgets to serve table water as requested. Had to ask for multiple drinks after the first and when i received my second wine they forgot the one I was drinking and served me a merlot instead of a cab sav! 😡 If you haven't tasted or experianced this type of restaurant before you may think its ok, but considering it is the most expensive one I have been too and the information I listed above i would not recommend it to anyone intending to try the Churrasco BBQ experiance.

Brazilian BBQ place that does not disappoint. Many different meats that come around to the table in intervals. Had a great night with friends here and the place was full. Best to book ahead.

Expensive and not really worth the price. Meats were not very tasty.
