Our experience with this company was outstanding from the outset - receiving the first quote through to installation. They were efficient, turned up when they said they would, answered every query and went above and beyond. Had to deal with our (commercial property) landlord regarding safety plans etc, which added more time, were thorough and absolutely the most polite people we have worked with. All the team were great and after a huge day of installing, left our space looking spotless - and we now have a great airconditioning system in place which works! I absolutely recommend them.

Based on our experience with the recent heat pump installation, I would highly recommend ESS. The initial sales visit was great, gave us all the options with no pressure selling and left it with us to make our own decision. Followup communications was always prompt and professional. The work carried out by the installation team was one of the best I have come across. They had eye for detail with every aspect of their work, ensured everything was done to a very high standard and aesthetically looked great. They were very informative about the work they were about to carry out and cleaned up after themselves inside and outside.

I am afraid, we have had a very bad experience with EES. Their sales team does a great job at selling their goods, but their operations team as an equally crappy job at providing after sale services. We had installed a 10k central aircon about 7 months ago and in about 4 months a leak was detected in the over head unit. I had called up EES pre Christmas to get it fixed. The installation was faulty which resulted in the roof of the house was soaked wet and resulted in significant damage. While they came and fixed the leak after I contacted a known person immediately, it has taken them 3+ months get a a builder and painter to fix it. This again was made possible by the known person. The customer services division and the service manager did not respond to my calls and despite of having gone to their office location in person twice, they didn't bother to respond. I had to again seek help from a known person to get a resolution. I will not recommend them any more because they ignore the customer service aspect completely. Please don't go near them.

I am incredibly disappointed by EES and in particular, their lack of customer support. The external unit of our heat pump was installed in the wrong place and after I let them know that day, it took the next 2 and a half months to finally get a customer services rep to inform me that it would cost to have it moved to where it was quoted to be placed. They were astoundingly hard to get a hold of and once I finally did get someone, their customer services rep was disgraceful to deal with, and lacked any sense of understanding. He was patronising and disrespectful. He told me that these situations happen all of the time... some advice to prevent this from happening all of the time would be to install everything in the correct place! And if it isn't in the correct place, apologise, explain the circumstances and offer some kind of token compensation. They wouldn't take any ownership for the mistake, despite the sales consultant telling me on the day of installation once I let him know it was installed in the wrong place, that it would be rectified. There is no shortage of heat pump installers around the Auckland area, so please, choose another one.

Installation done on 8th Feb 2018 - We have 4 units installed. spent over $10000 * Sale rep was great, follow up the quote very fast, but no response after the installation. * Poor installation!! - Electrician was bad & rude attitude, almost have no communication before installation. Drilled a hole on the wall from inside to outside without informing us, promised to put outdoor power point to cover the hole, but end up use silicon cover the hole. (See Photo) - One outdoor unit not level. (See Photo) - Cable capping poor installed, not well cover all visible cable. capping edge poorly cut. I'm sure I can do better job!! (See Photo) - Outdoor cable from ceiling not install probably. (See Photo) * Poor after sale service!! - Someone did a follow up call on the installation day, We have report above issue. Promise will follow up, but no one call back. We try to contact the same person again. but no response!! - Tried to contact the sale rep, Also no response. - We make phone call to the head office few day after installation, report same issue again. promise to follow up. but again, nothing happen!! - We make phone call again a week after installation, they have finally book a technician to visit. Promised he will fix the problem on spot while the visit. - Technician finally visit 19th Feb, check up the issue. He told us he will have to remove and reinstall two outside unit, and told us he dont have spare capping at his van. He will book us again, and promise will do it on later next week. (where is the promise about fix on spot while technician visit? Dont even bring the capping along with him). - We contact the technician this week. He said we will have to call the head office and book again !! * We have receive a final bill today regrading the final payment. - We have 4 units installed. Original quote is 2x back to back, 2x long capping. But at the end we have 3x back o back, 1x long capping. (back to back installation should be cheaper) - But the final bill total stay the same.
