ECA sold me a fully remote solar opener for a double sided six metre farm gate. Gave me all the installation and setup documents, along with about an hour’s advice from the techs when I picked up the parts. Worked like a charm! They have also answered my subsequent questions, and I have been very happy with the overall quality of all the parts. Not cheap, but I feel like I got good value for my money. Would recommend them over the cheaper alternatives.
Worst, dodgiest company I have ever dealt with. They have blamed Australia Post twice for non delivery of circuit board, latest time was November last year, it still hasn't been received. Now they expect me to give them another $600 and they will post another board. Who posts a $600 part without registering it so it can be tracked? I offered to pay for postage and was told not to worry they will post at their expense. I have no doubt it was never posted. NEGATIVE 5 STARS *DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY*
Most terrible company I have ever seen. Booked to come to fix my gate yesterday. But none turned up. Waste me taking one day leave. None answer the phone.
I've had 3 issues over the past 5 years with my ECA remote garage gate. Trouble shooting over the phone identified the problems and ECA were efficient and professional with their advice and rectifications. Their staff are always friendly and available on the phone and I can strongly recommend their services to anyone with an ECA device problem. KG
Brought two remotes. Expensive. ECA would'nt returm my calls or emails to get a postal tracking number to save us from driving 40kms to town. very bad customer service. They are good at taking the money and tha'ts it. Use another company not this one. Not even worth one star.
Having issues with an Intercom so called the company. Their technical service provider walked me through troubleshooting the problem and had the intercom working with the gate in under 10 minutes. Excellent service, was worried that no one would answer or it would go overseas to a call center. No worries, all local and great expertise on hand.
5 days before Christmas I had issues with my double gates not opening. John came the same day I rang and immediately diagnosed and fixed the problem which was electrical . Great customer service! I always use ECA for regular servicing of my gates. Prompt, reliable and pleasant manner.
I installed my electric gate with ECA more than 6 years ago and it still works and looks as new! when I needed extra remotes, it was simple and easy but most importantly, when we had to fix it due to storm damage; They were most helpful and incredibly responsive as we needed work done quickly. Highly recommend their service - the fact they've been around for so many years is a testament to the high level of service & understanding they provide!
I purchased an ECA remote that I was unable to sync to the garage gate. Every other resident was able to re-sync their remote. Mine was the only remote that wouldn't sync. When notifying ECA I was offered no refund and no replacement. Just a quote for a call-out making the remote and call-out more than $300. Note, I am able to purchase a generic remote for $30 that is easy to sync. A rip-off with no refund and no exchange for a defective item. Terrible business practice.
Our gate opening system failed about 10 years after install. We did a bit of fault finding and rang John at ECA who helped us figure the problem. Had to buy a new controller board a bit exe but dropped it in and it worked first time. No service callout fee as John helped us do it all ourselves.
