Great place to buy a car. I got my Kia Seltos 2025 there. Everything was done nice, easy, and fast. They gave me another new car to drive while I was waiting for my car to be ready to collect. They also gave me a little discount for my car, which is good of course.
I purchased a 2023 Volkswagen Tiguan from Ebbetts Pukekohe in December 2024 and very disappointed.nnThree main issues arose shortly after purchase:nThe installation of the tow-bar resulted in the rear bumper being damaged and unable to clip into its mounts. This caused it to rub against the tailgate, requiring a full bumper respray and PPF replacement.nThe black paint on the alloys began lifting within days due to poor surface preparation and some were different shades of matt black. Ebbetts attempted to rectify this by respraying the affected areas, but without cleaning or properly prepping the wheels so the underlying damage remained visible.nDespite the vehicle handbook stating not to use mixed tyres, the car was supplied with mismatched sets — two premium tyres and two budget Nankang tyres which noticeably affected handling, particularly during turn-in to corners.nnResolution: Ebbetts offered $500 to respray the alloys at their chosen repairer. Concerned about the quality due to prior experiences, I consulted several independent alloy specialists. All recommended stripping then properly refinishing the wheels - stripping alone was over $500 at all places consulted prior to respray. I ultimately had the wheels powder coated by Auckland Alloys, who delivered a stunning result.nFor the bumper, Ebbetts offered $750. However, the replacement of the paint protection film alone cost $250+GST. The respray and associated downtime nearly two weeks with a rental vehicle added further costs.nThey made no offer in respect of the tyres.nnMy advice if you are purchasing from Ebbetts Pukekohe, is to inspect the vehicle thoroughly and do not assume main-dealer quality. As a result of the above, I will certainly never purchase a vehicle from Ebbett Pukekohe in the future.
Awesome place to buy a car! Purchased my Mazda cx-3 from here everything was done easy, nice and fast! Such a beautiful car! They cleaned it and it came out perfect! Also got it delivered which was amazing and fast! Highly recommend buying a car from here!
