Story

Dwyer Robinson Pty Ltd is a law firm operating in Warrnambool, Victoria. The firm is run by two Directors, Anthony Robinson and Jo McCormack who are experienced Solicitors in their respective areas of practice.

Tony is an Accredited Family Law Specialist and an Accredited Criminal Law Specialist and has been with the firm since 1983, becoming a Partner in 1987. In addition to family law and criminal law, Tony also handles general litigation matters. He is the President of the Western District Law Association. Outside of work he is President of the Warrnambool Lawn Tennis Club, a long-time member of the Rotary Club of Warrnambool Central, and a long-suffering supporter of the Melbourne Football Club. In his spare time enjoys many sports, the beach, friends, and keeping up with his three children who are now at University and secondary school.

Jo grew up locally and joined the firm as a Legal Assistant in 2002. Completing her studies by correspondence, Jo qualified as a solicitor in 2008 and has been a Partner of the firm since 1 July 2013. Jo’s areas of practice are property law (including conveyancing, leases and subdivisions), commercial law, wills and estates. Jo is a committee member of the Western District Law Association, Warrnambool & District Community Hospice Inc and a Board Director of South West Healthcare. Outside of work, Jo is kept busy with her primary-school aged daughter and enjoys keeping active and supporting the Richmond Football Club.

Tony is assisted by Solicitors Michele Downs and Adam Bellman, together with a team of experienced Legal Assistants.

Jo is assisted by Solicitor Tayla Berger, together with a team of experienced Legal Assistants.

Peter Lumsden has been with the firm since March 1985. He has had a variety of roles during this time. In 1991 he became the Practice Manager of the firm. He is presently on the committee of the Wesley CBC Cricket Club Inc. and a member of the Warrnambool Golf Club for over 25 years.
