Fantastic Experience at Duck Duck Goose & LardernnI had a wonderful time visiting Duck Duck Goose & Larder. The staff are absolutely lovely and incredibly passionate about what they do. Their attention to detail is noticeable, from how they prepare the food to the overall dining experience. It’s clear that they take pride in their work, which really enhances the warm and welcoming atmosphere.nnI ordered the pumpkin soup, and it was absolutely delicious! The soup was full of rich flavor, perfectly seasoned, and very, very yummy. It’s the kind of dish that warms you up and leaves you satisfied. I highly recommend trying it if you’re visiting.nnI paired the soup with a cappuccino, which was also very well made. The combination made for a perfect breakfast — light yet filling, and full of flavor. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or a leisurely meal, the café has a relaxed vibe that makes it easy to enjoy your time there.nnOverall, Duck Duck Goose & Larder offers great food, excellent coffee, and exceptional service. I’ll definitely be back for more!
What a great place for coffee or lunch, with a good range of food options and excellent, friendly service. We were there on a very cold day and they even offered us blankets to wrap in while we enjoyed our lunch. That really is going a step further than many other places do!nOur food was delicious and the coffee was great. The gingerbread bear cookie that I got as a takeaway was a delicious, comforting way to end the day.nIt was also nice to be able to browse the variety of goods on offer, ranging from locally produced foods, oils and condiments to kitchenware and soy candles.
We had the best toasties here, next to my husband’s of course! The coffee was great and there were lovely things to smell, try and buy like lotions and potions and also nifty homewares. The young serving staff were friendly and the industrial venue successfully mixes vintage with modern.nWe were visiting from Melbourne and will be thinking about these toasties for a long time.
I had made a mental note of this place for future trips when in the area, based on the mostly good reviews. We dropped by last Friday some time after 3 p.m hoping for some coffee but they were no longer open for coffee even though the shop was still open, which was fine. First impressions was that it is a very pretty cafe/restaurant with some delightful goods in the shop. However, the employee at the shop register gave us quite a frosty response when we inquired about the coffee and it's little things like that which stick. Pity, as this has put us off actually coming in for a sit down meal the next time we are back in that neck of the woods.
Excellent Cafe with a very good selection of tasty food on offer. The servings are generous and beautifully presented. The staff are very friendly and polite. The is very well made to high standard. All round Excellent quality place .
