So amazing to find vegan gluten free options at such a reasonable price point. Food is nostalgic of childhood special breakfasts. The best hash brown I’ve ever eaten. Electric atmosphere, clearly very loved establishment. Amazing staff

We visited Drexels on a Saturday morning, obviously very popular place. There were people waiting to be seated. But the staff found seats pretty quickly. We were only waiting about 8 minutes, if that. The decor and vibe of the place is great, and the staff were super friendly, especially with the kids. The food was very generous portions, and some of us couldn't finish. Delicious all round!

Good location for the early birds to grab the breakfast. Friendly staff and good service, waffle is yummy, my daughter likes it so much. Car park could be the issue when the street is busy.

Got the Drexel special with extra bacon and loved it. Great food and quick service but it’s almost too speedy so it’s hard to judge customer service. It gets pretty loud when busy and the food is pretty pricy but an otherwise good spot for a brunch catch up.

Food was average as best! Not sure what I was expecting to be honest. But staff were friendly and great hence the 4 star review. 3 stars for the food 5 starts for customer service

Has to be the best breakfast place in Ōtautahi Christchurch! We've been coming here for many years for birthdays in the family. Excellent food, hearty portion sizes and reasonable pricing. It's always super busy on weekends so booking is essential if you don't want to miss out. Highly recommend making a booking for weekdays too. The service is excellent, the staff are friendly, energetic and so onto it, they always seem to pop around with the bottomless coffee pot just as you're starting to think ooh I could go for another cup. Cannot recommend Drexel's enough. Oh and bonus points for the little birthday candle they gave my partner with his pancakes because we mentioned he was a birthday boy!

A far different and better experience than last time. We were served fast, prompt and the food was HUGE. The pancakes were perfection and the blueberries and cream were generously given. The coffee was endless for $4.80 and someone always offered to top up. I took my pancakes home because the regular stack was a giant amount. My daughter got the kids platter and the waffle and hotcake were both golden and soft inside, deliciously crispy outside. Selection of fruit and cream plus only 2.00 for an extra a poached egg she was most pleased. 10/10 Staff location and food all amazing Kid-friendliness: Great new staff. Despite being booked we were given a table in between bookings. My daughter and I started off Sunday beautifully here. She felt very special and her order was exactly as she described Parking: It's on location at Westfeild mall so there are carparks for 60mins out front or in the mall carparking areas with three levels including mezzanine for up to 240mins.

The food was nice. We took all 5 members of our family out for breakfast. We all ordered something different. The customer service was also great. There was a wee 4 minute wait but nothing to complain about. We will be back. Our youngest son also has autism was a wee bit loud but nothing that our son couldn't cope with.

it is extremely busy and therefore the service isn't great - don't expect water at peak hours the 'famous' hash browns are extremely bland and lack salt. on a positive note, the avocado smash name? is fantastic! excuse the half eaten breakfast picture. always get this whenever i go and it has not let me down yet. lots of salmon!

Absolutely love this place! Went out with family for late breakfast and came back again the next day because it was so good! Amazing service, food is top notch and although it’s a popular place the waiting time isn’t long at all! Great little touch of offering free toast when we were ordering. The waiters are amazing at listening and taking orders and gets everything right! Great value for money, will be coming back here when around Christchurch again!
