Ordered from Dragon Inn for first time since reopening under new management. Had ordered many times pre lockdown and never disappointed. This time will be our last order with them. Both my wife and I had very unsettled sickly stomachs during night. The crispy duck was very dry. The mixed meat fried rice tasted like it had been microwaved and appeared wholemeal rather than white rice..tasteless. The mixed meat and veg dish was ok, as was the crispy chicken in honey and and garlic. The chicken curry was not spicy hot and was watery tasteless. This was a waste of our well earned 35 quid. Will be going elsewhere next time. Very, very disappointing, sadly.

Disappointed as had heard good things about this takeaway. However when ordered meal B for one at £9.80.was told minimal charge of £10 applied.This was not a delivery charge.but collection from shop. I declined this charge and left shop. I will not be returning.
We ordered this evening 25th April 2021, this takeaway has been our go-to choice for the past year as it’s never disappointed. However on this occasion the food arrived very quickly and it was vile!! Can only assume it’s been re-heated, the chow mien was tasteless, my prawn main had an odd metallic taste, the meat was chewy and chips were rock-hard. My partners main tasted strongly of garlic and not much else. Waste of £30 as it’s all gone in the bin, safe to say we are now going to have to find another Chinese takeaway for future orders!!
This place has gone right down hill since having a new owner, myself & my family would regularly order from here & it had an amazing vegetarian selection better than most other Chinese in the area, fairly priced, good food, along with lovely staff & the phones would be ringing off the hook however I managed to get through first time every time I called that should have told me something... the guy on the phone was honestly so so lovely when he asked the new owner if I could have a vegetarian selection like they used to do they have a meat one but not veggie said I’d pay the same price the owner refused, food arrived in good time but they have not only put the prices up but changed the food we always order the same thing, prawn toast was hard over cooked & awful, the Singapore special fried rice was so spicy even my partner who likes spice said it was too much & tasted awful, the dragon inn special curry had also changed was so watery & just not nice at all ... it’s such a shame because dragon inn when it was with the old owners had such a good reputation & it’s now majorly gone down hill & are now left trying to find a new Chinese takeaway because we will never order from here again
The worst food we've ever had. Disgraceful. Ribs were dry and tough and it didn't state they come submerged with an lb of onions, spring rolls were undercooked, red curry was some spicy gloopy substance with onions and 2 prawns, duck dish was smelling so bad that went straight in the bin. There was more large chunks of onion in that dish than anything else. Avoid like a plague!
Amazing food. These guys nail it every time. Never had a bad meal from them. Great spring rolls, great chow mein, great sweet and sour sauce, just awesome. Thanks for all the great meals!
Will never use this place again. Four of us had chicken balls, early morning, woke up with sickness and dihorrea as did everyone one else. Stay clear of this takeaway.
I'm new in town and and I desperately need rice. So this restaurant was suggested to me by my landlady. I got chicken fried rice and crispy king prawns and it was delicious. Maybe it'll be my go to restaurant till the time I'll be Bournemouth!!. Thank you for your service.
