Dr. Choong is amazing! Highly recommended. I have been struggling with my acne for decades, and he’s the only dermatologist that helped me get rid of it! 100% recommend! Dr. Choong is amazing! I have been struggling with my acne for decades, and he’s the only dermatologist that helped me get rid of it! I have finished treatment 10 months ago and my face never had acne since. Dr. Choong is very kind and he is very patient with all the questions I asked. Don’t hesitate to reach out to him if you have same situation like me used to be!
I found Dr. Choong by looking up dermatologists with the highest star rating and I am not surprised why he's rated highly. I was fortunate enough that in 3-4 months, he was able to get my acne riddled face to be the clearest and healthiest it's been. I also suffer from hyper pigmentation and that's been significantly reduced to the point where you need a bright light directly to the face. Cannot recommend him enough.
Highly recommend Dr Choong! I have just finished my course of accutane and the results are amazing. He is experienced, compassionate, kind, and I would never see any other dermatologist. It is definitely worth the drive to Sunnybank from wherever you are!
I was recommended to Dr Choong by my GP for my acne and I couldn't be happier. I will be finishing my treatment in a couple of weeks and I had a fantastic experience with Dr Choong. He is friendly, smart, and I felt in very safe hands. I had friends who started an acne treatment journey at the same time as me and Dr Choong's methods were much simplier and I didn't have any scary side effects like they did. Dr Choong shows empathy and care and the staff at the clinic were always friendly and helpful. 10/10 recommend.

100% recommend. I was referred by my GP to Dr Khai Choong after suffering with severe atopic dermatitis since childhood. He has really helped me out alot within the past 5 months of doing his treatment than any other treatment/medicine I’ve ever tried my entire life for this skin condition. Blessed to have come a long way with this treatment now that I feel more confident in my skin. I Respect the work.
Rude, late, dismissive, didn't listen, unkind, uncaring, impatient. Didn't take me seriously, unwilling to help me. And charges sky high prices for this service. Dermatologists should be compassionate and kind and caring. You don't know how many years my condition has affected me! And how it's affected me mentally! I then tried to ask him an unrelated question about a mole. He glanced at it from a meter away and told me I needed a new referral for that. Never will I return to this .... I think all he does is prescribe Roaccutane and these patients will leave good reviews as it works. But I asked him about other treatments and he wasn't willing to talk through other treatments with me. Apparently Roaccutane is the only, the best out there, the holy grail, and he won't consider anything else. Now, I've taken this medicine before and am wary to take it again so I genuinely wanted the next best option. He was unwilling to help me. I left in tears with an empty wallet and no resolution. It's almost criminal in my opinion: refusing to help me and then demanding hundreds of dollars of payment. Avoid like the plague unless you're looking for someone who will easily prescribe Roaccutane like smarties with no questions asked.
Receptionist are very polite. Dr. Khai was good, explained things in easy and simple way. Yes, I have to wait for 45 minutes but it was worth it.
I had a great experience with Dr. Khai, he was very welcoming and knowledgeable during my first visit. My skin is so amazing now and I’m very happy with the treatment he provided, I couldn’t be happier.
