I cant express enough what I went through today. The staffs were amazing and they helped me great! I was referred to Dr Monisha Gupta for my hyper pigmentation of my scars. I waited for three months for this appointment as referred to my GP from ingleburn. My face had very bad acne scars. It was my first experience with a specialist and I thought she would care and at least let me know why this is happening to me all of a sudden (paying such a big fees for a consultation). I was bit curious while I was waiting at the reception as I saw she was not spending enough time with the patients. My appointment was at 9:45 and I got called 20 minutes before my time which was quite a surprise.Before the appointment I had written my current medication wherein I included Elevit and iron tablets as I was looking forward trying for a baby. The doctor Monisha gupta just glanced through the paper, didnt show any interest. Neither a smile nothing. I told my problem she scribbled something and recommended a sunscreen which I have used before. Then she recommended nuteregena for my facial pimples. I dont have to see a specialist for this!! In 2 min she just looked at my face and prescribed a lotion which I have to get custom made from a drug store. I was happy thinking at least this would help! Then the last questions made me sink. She asked me if I am planning for a baby. I said yes, I am planning. She said the medicine I prescribed cannot be taken while you are trying to which I replied that then it would effect me as I have made plans. I thought she would recommend something different or give me an alternative solution. She instead told me to first clear off my acne marks and then get pregnant :O How shocked I could be! I am shocked by the response a dermatologist can give me! Without knowing your other factors, she advised me to get pregnant after using this cream for 6 months and she booked me again for April. I quietly came out after spending just 10 min inside- paid 190 dollars and made way back home! I am really sad and lost hope at the specialists in Sydney! Worst experience ever! I am a public patient with no private insurance and this put me down really bad!

today I wanted to come to a consultation, and they told me that they are fully occupied until December! 😲
