I have just completed 10 days rehab in Kennedy Ward after a total knee replacement operation. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. From the moment I walked through the door until the moment I left today I have had the best treatment there is. The nurses, physio, porters, cleaners, ladies who come around every day to take your menu choices and the people who bring your food are an absolute joy and make what can be an overwhelming experience as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The OT staff were brilliant and so helpful with tips and gadgets for home. Sorry if I missed anyone. The care I received was second to none. The food is just an extra on top with delicious dishes served fresh every day.nLooking forward to coming in for outpatient physio.nThank you all from the bottom of my heart. Jill xx
Just completed 10 days post knee replacement operation.nExcellent care and physio program.nWill now start day rehab sessions next week. Thanks to all the lovely nurses.
Our family member has just begun rehabilitation as an outpatient and we are so happy with her experience so far. From the moment we arrived, she has been treated so kindly and we have been very impressed by the level of professional care she has received. Highly recommend this facility.
Today 24/10 will be my 5th rehab stint at Donvale. It's such peace of mind knowing the quality of care and staff are wonderful. Most have been there a long time. They are still passionate at looking after patients.nRob is my Physio and I trust him 100% with helping me achieve my goals and keeps me safe as well as motivated.nI live alone but would never go to any other facility for rehab. I have been twice to Donvale Rehabilitation Hospital in the last six months for 2 X total knee replacements. Each stay was for about ten days.nEveryone I encountered, including the nurses, GPs, physios, catering, administration, porters, cleaners, OT, trainees etc. always carried out their duties punctually in a friendly and polite manner and always with a smile regardless of any problem. The overall service was excellent whereby they thought of everything to make the stay as comfortable as possible.nMeals were something to look forward to, with a good selection to choose from.nAll patients I spoke to during the 20 days appeared to have a similar opinion about the service received at Donvale Rehabilitation Hospital. Thank you.
