I booked my 3 dogs into premium accommodation based on the lovely photos showed on the website and by the reviews by satisfied owners. Unfortunately when I arrived to do a tour a week later I found it was not at all as I expected. It was small cramped and not very clean. There were no "doggy doaters" or dogs exercising, just lots of dogs standing around in their pens. There was no nice furniture or soft beds as per the photos only what I can describe as crate mats with rags over the top in the premium suites and well worn trampoline beds for the others. What really was the deal breaker was a trolley loaded with containers of cooked rice and cooked meat of some variety left exposed to the elements in the hot afternoon (230pm) sun with flies all over the food. The person taking my tour commented the dogs were having their lunch. Really? There were no food bowls or dogs eating, just food covered in flies that I would not be happy feeding my dogs or any dog for that matter. I rang to voice my concerns and was told that the food was only left for 10 minutes and that some dogs get soft beds. The trouble with this is I can only go on what I have seen, I don't know what goes on after I leave my dogs and from what I had seen I didn't want to take the chance and I cancelled the booking. I was told the managers would phone to talk about my concerns, they didn't. Please look before you book at any boarding kennel and, make sure you get what you pay for.

Overpriced, extremely rude, lazy, don’t want large breeds. I’m not one to post negative reviews, but my experience really upset me and I need to share it. We called first and asked if they would take a Husky (oh yes they told me) so I booked our elderly Husky in for our annual Easter holiday over a 2-3yr. period. I asked to view the kennel but wasn’t allowed, I should have seen the signs, don’t be fooled by the fancy website, office and entrance. After 1st pick up my dog was lethargic, skinny and very unhappy, APARENTLY he was too hard! It appeared he was locked up the whole 2 weeks we were gone, we had used other kennels and never once did our dog look like this at pick up. I got a bunch of excuses as to why he was like that in the glass booth area where other staff couldn't hear it, so I believed her, we chose this kennel because it was new, closer to home and appeared to be clean and nice. When our dog is exercised daily he is happy, Husky's have an actual smile like humans, apparently they couldn’t exercise him because he didn’t get along with other dogs but I had told them to only put him with larger dogs when I booked him and again at drop off especially if he’s in a shared yard (obviously) as small dogs bite his legs and annoy him, the woman carried on to say that they are dog experts and can deal with all breeds. At pick up I was then told he was too hard to wash (when this is included in the very high price) and I was made to feel it was a massive inconvenience I brought my dog there, I took it on the chin. Second visit, same again this time they didn’t even bother to wash him and carried on he had sores etc and I had to take him to the vet!. it was a couple of round prickles from the grass stuck in his fur! I again took it on the chin, another unhappy thin dog. The amount of office staff is ridiculous, serious overkill, so rude, they need to invest more time caring for your pet, you’re rushed through the doors dog taken away without a second to say good bye, stupidly re booked for following Easter, I received a reminder pre-Easter, called up to confirm times of drop off & pick up, told I didn’t have a booking when I specifically had a long conversation the year before about re-booking when I was told my dog was too hard to wash! Apparently they keep notes on their system (wait for it) yet this conversation had only been half noted down! But it was my fault because I didn't pay a deposit? however I had received a reminder, the excuse for that was, "we sent out a reminder to everyone in our database even if they don’t have a booking"" Even after all the times we stayed there I was told they only make exceptions for smaller dogs if there is a mix up, double booking last min, I begged they help me, I had nowhere else to go, leaving the next day for my family holiday, the girls did not care at all, I was not re booked simply because they didn’t want a larger breed, I even said they don’t need to wash him if it’s that difficult! I’m really annoyed with myself for paying money to them for so long for this terrible service, I didn’t feel welcome nor did they care for my Husky, all the staff I saw were disinterested and unhappy with their job, just hurry up and pay and get out. This poor service and rudeness comes from the top and how it’s managed. They were not helpful or caring at all it ruined my holiday as we had to try and get in somewhere else last min and delay our trip, luckily we found a lovely kennel nearby family run much cheaper happy dog. No doubt they will write a response denying and their ""database"" says otherwise, how about going out of your way to help customers, didn't receive any photos or updates, no wonder.

My whippet absolutely loves coming here, so much he doesn't even say goodbye when I drop him off. I love the postcard and detailed review of your pet's stay when you pick them up & the option for the K9 cab pick-up/drop-off is very handy.

Another fantastic stay for our much loved hounds Frank & Mavis. They love their holidays at the Country Club and we love ours because we know they are well cared for and loved as if they were at home. Thanks to the marvellous team at Dogs Country Club & Kennel Resort. Frank & Mavis will be back!

What a professionally run operation! We were impressed right from the first moment of drop off to the pick up 2 weeks later! My two dogs were returned to us looking very contented. I loved the Xmas treats we were given as well as the holiday post card which described what they did, who they played with and how well they ate. I had no worries about my Lab eating, but my little Shitzu X is a pretty fussy and yet he came back having put on some well needed weight! I will definitely be back and have no qualms recommending this amazing Doggy Resort to anyone looking for their dogs to be cared for by fellow Doggy Doaters.
