Yes, it may take a while. yes, the coffee itself is not going to be memorable or fast, but this place is an institution and was a welcome relief for those of us who’d venture out during lockdown for caffeine. I wish I could say the same about neighbours Hawthorne Garage from whom I’ve caught food poisoning a few times.

Great coffee consistently
Coffee tastes good. Personnel quick and friendly. Sometimes they give a free gingerman.
The young girl serving was rude and unfriendly. Coffee not very good either.
Went for coffee and sandwich. Guy was so slow making the coffee and totally forgot about sandwich in toaster until we asked him was it supposed to be burning. Usually good service. Today not so good
While the workers are lovely, the ordering system really needs some work. Either they need to make the outside window a pick up only; they need someone serving the window only and another serving inside; or staff need to to ensure people are actually being served in order they arrive.
Sorry guys, but my cappuccino tasted like hot milk
The most consistent and nicest coffee at Hawken Dr!
