Poor value, overpriced tiny cabin with basic fitout, beds that are not made up, non soundproof walls, and only one aircon for the entire cabin. For context, we paid $362 per night over the peak holiday season. It's probably worth $180 in reality - basically think basic cabin at caravan park, nothing more.nnI wanted to stress that the two-bedroom cabin we stayed in was really really small, and the photos on the website and Booking.com looked a lot bigger, and considering the price we paid, I thought it was also meant to be bigger after seeing the photos online.nnThe only saving grace was really friendly service at check in. Although I'm not sure if I'm happy to pay $362 a night for a few minutes of encounter with a lovely staff. I am really dreading my second night stay tomorrow and wished I can cancel.
To be clear, this review is of the Scarness Tasman Park.nI took an ensuite site, which unfortunately all are next to an extremely loud road. The ensuite itself was clean, except the roof is mouldy and the sink was blocked which I fixed.nThe park itself is nice and quiet, but the road noise is terrible. Maybe the people who said it is quiet here were deaf or had a site up the back? Maybe they had the wrong caravan park?

They didn't send the money back.nTHEY SCAMM AND CHARGE YOU TWICE ON YOUR CREDITCARD WHEN YOU BOOK VIA BOOKING.COM.nnI have stayed here 2 nights with my husband for a whale trip.nThey charged me twice for my stay.n1 time via booking.com and the 2nd they charged my creditcard themselves.nIt has been 10 months, almost 11, that I am trying to get my money back. Booking tried to help. And they promised booking to send the double charged money back. They did not. Despite all the information they have asked me and I have send this to them. They are not sending my money back.nn@Tasman Holiday Parks. When are you transferring my double charged money back to my account?nYou say you are not scamming. This is scamming. Literally.nCharging our stay twice on my creditcard and not sending my money back.nLITERALLY
Average at best. We stayed in a cabin, the bed was terrible, too soft and sunk into the middle. Unable to block out all the outside lights at night when trying to sleep, alot of light came through the blinds. Bathroom old and required repairs. We won't be back.
Recently stayed here in a cabin and were very impressed. It has the best camp kitchen I've ever come across and literally everything you need from crockery and cutlery, fresh dish clothes, tea towels and every kitchen utensil possible. You could literally just bring food and not be disappointed. Kids enjoyed the pool and the laundry even had free powder! Some cabins even allow small dogs inside. Cabin was clean and never ran out of hot water.
