Many products here are after the best before date. Some of them are expired more than six months. If you don't mind to eat food after best before date, here is a great place to shop. But if you care about the date, you should always check before buying. The prices here are very bargain!
Best little hidden gem here. In date pantry and freezer foods in abundance. Courteous staff are always helpful and the variety of food options is huge! Well worth the time to find parking. Not a lot of parking is available. Trolleys are old with dodgy wheels but serve their purpose.
The best discount shop there is!!! Never mind due dates, you can find anything you want here! And tastes amazing still!! Try your luck and see! Its so great to have these around. Whip up a whole meal or picnic for only $10! Serves 4! So great!!
I went today and I was really impressed. Some products were so expired they weren't useable... I felt like the watermelon drink I got made me sick... But I'll shop there again more mindfully... Although rumour has it the place is closing down.
Great place to get heavily discounted food and drinks. Some items are close to best before date, some items are just discontinued by manufacturer. Great savings on lunch snacks for the kids, or party food, as well as heaps of frozen stuff. Friendly staff, great service.
You always find something new and interesting in this store try it. ***** The store is closing down due to the cheap outlets in Logan, as they can't compete with the pricing. People expect products for near nothing as they can get it from The lighthouse, and other funded outlets. Make sure you go there before the 22nd September as they will only have one store now which is located at ASHMORE, which is only 30 minutes away. I feel sorry for the staff here at Logan as they already have staff at Ashmore.
As long as your check your use by dates, and watch what your grabbing, it's a great place. But can easily spend way more then you intend to, I know I did.
Staff are lovely never had a problem with them, always happy to chat and always very helpful. Will always shop here first before going elsewhere because i can garantee i will do most of my savings here alone.
Not the friendliest of staff - a lot talk down there nose to you.........but if you can avoid this there are some good specials to be had - just got to watch the expiry dates and some pricing is near supermarket standard pricing....so know your pricing!!!!
Good variety of food. Most past use by date but who cares. Good pricing and I'm still alive.
