Story

The Devonport RSL is situated in the Devonport CBD, at 18 Macfie Street, with an expansive car park.

We house a large lounge/bar area and bistro with an Oasis gaming room available, as well as TasKeno & TOTE facilities.

Our dining room has a full-time chef and staff who provide an à la carte menu and great service. The dining room also doubles as a dancing facility on Friday nights, with different live bands and a $5 cover charge every week.

The Devonport RSL has a great Function Room with a capacity to seat up to 200 people that can be hired for Corporate Events, Engagement and Wedding Celebrations, Birthday Parties and any other private event. Catering is available as is a large dance floor and stage area for bands or a DJ.

Additionally, we house our own small War Museum

A DVA Pension officer is available at the Devonport RSL on Wednesday by appointment.

I love the way it's quiet, in the daytime, lovely air-conditioning on a hot, or cold day, if you want to smoke, there's a nice place out the back with shade and wind shelter, a gas heater for winter. With your membership, you get 2 free drinks, with renewal and a free drink on your birthday, that's nearly all of the$25 membership fee. Comfortable seats.

Great RSL in Devonport. Good parking and Thursday night raffles and live entertainment on Friday's every week.

Excellent food. I had a beef roast and Helen had Flat Head Fillets, salad and chips. And the Boags Draught was good, clean and crisp. They must clean their lines and taps properly 😎
