Excellent quality furnishings with all the tranquility of the quiet rural setting. Pleasantly priced too and with a cosy wood fire. Highly recommended. We will definitely try and stay again if we visit Kingaroy.
It's been a 8 months since we stayed there September 2021 but it was lovely. The owners are very nice, the space is beautiful and clean, and the views are great. I especially liked the fire place and winery next door.
I cannot over emphasise how great this place is. The host were amazing, I was staying for work, but I had the most relaxing evening. It was truly enjoyable.
I was greeted by a lovely man who explained everything that I needed to know. The retreat is very cosy and has everything that you need. Very comfortable beds and an amazing view.
Great place to stay, wonderful hosts. Everything was amazing. Breakfast hamper with fresh juice, homage bread, plunger coffee,. Outlook was beautiful, looking across the valley. Comfy bed. Nice bath.
If you want to know a secret it's Deshons Retreat. I travel all the time and Alex and Janet make this special everytine I visit. No wonder they have 5 star rating. This place is just amazing. Well done Alex & Janet from the organic veggies to the amazing salad. Too good.
This place was an unexpected joy. I was staying in Kingaroy for work and initially I was a little concerned about the distance from town, but it's really not that far. And then I arrived and was so impressed by the pleasant welcome, the absolutely stunning natural surroundings and the comfortable, clean and inviting room. I'll be back for sure. I'm not often driven to write a review, but in this instance I was because of the unique nature of this place. I loved the smell of the breeze, seeing the kangaroos hopping through the verdant valley right out the front door and the relaxed and tranquil surroundings. Thank you Deshons.
