Called in with family for a drink and lunchtime meal. Good service and the meals were great. The steak sandwich was ample and cooked well and the salt and pepper calamari was cooked just right. Friendly bar staff and the best thing, we could have our fur baby in the outdoor dinning area. Thanks for a great morning/ arvo.
The pub is very nicely done up and is a pleasant place to be. Unfortunately the steak I ordered had alot if sinew and was like chewing bubblegum and the salad was dry and had no dressing on it, or even a side of dressing to put on it! I was disappointed but I'll try again another time give them one more chance. Maybe order something different. The lady across from the table from me also wasn't impressed with her meal.
Only stopped for a quick lunch. Had the lunch special which was generous but your basic pub meal. Main menu looked interesting so may try next time we visit. Staff were friendly and efficient.Service: 5/5
As much as it's a nice place, the prices are what you would expect at a fine dining restaurant yet the meals are of $12 special quality. I ordered a parmi and chips which was nearly $30 and it was honestly one of the worst I've ever had. It's such a shame because it's such a nice place.
Went for lunch between Christmas and New Year. Had their biggest burger. Fantastic. Nice and big, tasty and came served with chips. Will definitely be back next time we are in town.
Overall was a good experience, only disappointing part was the price of the devilled chicken wings as a topper. For $8 you would expect 4 or 5 wings but the plate came out with just two ontop, $4 per wing that weren't overly meaty. But the service was great.Service: 3/5
I would have given no stars if i could.. this place is a disgrace!. The place itself.. the set up.. decor and ambiance is really nice.. but that's where the positives stop! Overcooked snitzel, recooked cooked prawns.. rude management and no accountability.. will never return or recommend.. disgraceful place.
I ordered the Grilled Seafood Basket, the meal cost $42.90. It came with Cold and watery Grilled Barramundi, 2 Cold apparently Grilled Prawns and 2 Cold Calamari Pieces. As well as chips and salad. I admittedly did eat the two prawns as soon as the meal came out, because they were cold I then felt my Barramundi. It was watery cold and raw in places. I immediately took my meal back to the bar staff and asked for my money back. The young lady took it to the duty manager. Which then came back out with my meal. And said there was nothing wrong with it. I told her that the fish was raw. She then informed me they do not do refunds as the chef said it was hot when it was bought out and insinuated I left my meal for quite some time before I started eating. I told her I started eating as soon as the young lady had bought my meal out. She then took my meal back to the kitchen, returned without my meal and said that it was cold because of all the back and forth with my meal about my complaint. The duty manager was quite rude and unapologetic, and to be honest, had the Attitude that she couldn’t care that I could have gotten sick from raw Barramundi and under cooked seafood in general. I have never been treated so poorly from someone in a customer service position. As we were walking out of the venue, the duty manager and the chef found it quite amusing.
We ordered 3 meals. Calamari tasted like it was undercooked. Rump steak was very chewy and chips were unsalted and not great. Carbonara sauce was watery and not very creamy. Also thought most of it was overpriced for what it was.
Unsure if you can get a room here for the night however the food was expensive for your typical pub fair. Have been to 3 now in Kingaroy and all seem to offer something slightly different but with the same pub feel.Service: 4/5
