We had dinner with a group of friends in a Thursday night. We were the second order from the table. Our order was lost as were four others. When we went to ask where our food was we had to prove we had ordered/paid. Food came 80 minutes after ordering, 15 minutes after chasing up. We were offered free drinks but that doesn’t fill your stomach like a meal does. The meal we good.
Was there Friday night for dinner, the food was delicious.nGood service and fast.nI appreciate people singing but it was maybe a bit too loud we could barely talk to each other at the table.
Steak was cold like it came from the fridge to the table. The hamburger was completely raw in the middle, and the cabonara bowl was half full of oil.
Had dinner last night. They had a 2 piece band playing. The music was too loud and out of tune unfortunately. We ordered our meals and I got the bangers and mash special. I wish I took a photo of how sad it was. The sausages tasted like they have been cooked then steamed, the peas had no flavour but the saving grace was the mash potato. My daughter got the chicken burger. They used thigh meat which was undercooked in the middle. When we told them it was undercooked they explained “that’s how the chicken thigh is meant to be cooked” we asked if they could redo as she didn’t want to eat raw chicken.nThey did recook and it came out perfect.nThe waitress was helpful.
Was keen for a good pub feed.Food was delicious. No seafood basket. Bit disappointed.
