It’s often the case that reviews focus on negative experiences, but I wanted to share a positive one. The department is one of the best transport departments I’ve encountered compared to those in other countries. Shannon, who assisted me, was exceptional. Thanks to his thoroughness and efficiency, I was able to get my CRN and driving license converted in a single visit, saving me the hassle of a second trip. He carefully checked all my documents, as one would expect, but still managed to handle everything quickly and efficiently. Excellent service overall!
I’ve been to the DMT at least 20 times over the past 4 years and they are the most efficient, polite and communicative people who have every time gone out of their way to accommodate my needs and find a solution to my needs.nYou must have great leadership and staff who are all on the same page .n

I went for my open license test and Liz was my driving examiner she is so calm and nice which made my anxiety level go down..Throughout the test she was trying to make comfortable which made me confident.And I passed my driving test with her with flying colours…
Hello so today I go into Maroochydore to put some personalised plates that I haven’t used in a while on my vehicle : they weren’t able to do this transfer as their system showed one of the plates had been supposedly surrendered years ago which was not the case as i have both plates : after a phone call to another dept I was sent away and told I would get a phone call / text and an email when sorted. I received a call this afternoon that everything had been sorted only to find out after returning and waiting this was not the case and matter needs more investigation. This is unacceptable and I just wasted 2 hours of my day and the matter is still not resolved.
