One of the top three restaurants in Palmy. Try for yourself and see why their chef is THE BEST!nnThis is the first time we have eaten here for years. There have been a few owner changes and we weren’t sure what to expect.nnThe reviews were good so we took a chance and were fortunate to get a table without a booking.nnWe were surprised to see the large number of affordable options on the menu, so many restaurants in Palmy now are out of our price range.nnEverything was superb - from the kind and friendly maître d’, to the top class wines and spirits at prices we could afford, and especially the food. Oh the food… I will try to describe the experience, but even the photos don’t do the chef’s creations justice.nnWe share the prawns and then had our own mains - steak for me and lamb rack for him.nnThe servings were substantial I am glad we shared the entree and the ingredients were exquisitely used to create flavour explosions with every bite.nnMy steak was cooked perfectly - I like rare with a tendency to blue… often this is over-cooked in Palmy, but not here. As Brad Pitt would say… perfecto.nnHis lamb rack was the best I have ever eaten, although I don’t get much due to Aaron hoarding the deliciousness to himself.nnWe normally don’t have a dessert but we were tempted by the delicious array on the menu, and we were not disappointed. We need to come back and try each of the deserts one by one. I think we would make special trips just for dessert.nnI have already booked a table for our group on Mum’s 86th birthday. She has eaten at the finest restaurants around the world, and I am certain she will love the ambiance, service and taste that Dejeuner Restaurant and Bar delivers.nnWell done to the new owners, you have the right mix of excellent chef, friendly service, relaxed atmosphere AND reasonable prices.

Everything we ordered past our expectations . It was so delicious. The bruscheta was light and flavoursome. The onion soup was surprisingly really good and big enough for two people. The fillet Mignon was a bigger than i expected and the meat was really tender. Omg the porc was on another level its a big portion of pork belly and the fat was rendered so well that the meat was literally melting in your mouth. I'd highly recommend this place for a date night. I also saw everyone else ordered the lamb racks so that's what I plan on getting next time.
Absolutely remarkable. Enjoyed the food and drinks, especially the dessert. The service was amazing and definitely made our night memorable! Definitely will come back here again!nForgot to take a picture of the mussels but they were divine.
Wonderful dinner with friends celebrating a birthday. Food was delicious with the prawns for entree and the filet mignon being the standouts. All beautifully presented and even the plates were warmed! Will definitely be back
