Awesome, as always! Ive been searching for the perfect winter knit for ages without success. So decided to try a walkthrough here once again. The sales staff are so helpful here, unlike many other places, and one in particular helped me find it in Jac+Jack. There were only 2 in store, she even searched out the back for the next size down. I'm so happy with this find, and the experience. It's a real pleasure to visit here.
Super poor service!! Couldn't recommend this David Jones less, i generally opt to shop with David Jones for the good customer service and easy returns policy when buying online & unsure of size however the staff in this store in the ladies section and concierge section were terrible running 4 retail business' myself, i am very respectful and kind however the staff need training here!! . The lady at concierge would not provide me with a receipt for my return and i didn't think anything of it until i got home and realised i had no proof of the $500 return I made.. returned in-store the next day and she insisted she processed the return and again wouldn't provide me with a receipt. 5 days later i contact customer service and they advised me it had never been processed... luckily the online team were helpful and trusted that it had been returned or i would have been out of pocket $500.
Too many bad experiences. You either get no service or subpar service. Departments are often unattended; staff will prioritise privileged-looking customers despite who was waiting first. Security barcodes always set off the alarm when you exit after purchase. Limited range of stock available in this store. Staff at Myers are much more attentive and polite, not to mention the prices are more often than not, better at Myer. Will not be returning.
We happened to come by this area and chance upon Malvern Central. Upon stepping in, we saw David Jones. A single floor store that covers Men, Women and Kids sections. Pretty neat and felt a different experience than the traditional David Jones.
This is always a friendly place. The lady that works at the Politix booth, Shoreh, was very helpful geting me the right fit for the jacket i wanted, and procured the item via another store and called me to get it at the store. She is excellent value and great customer service. Thanks Shoreh
Very limited range of higher than average priced to expensive clothing aiming at the local demographic of Malvern/ Armadale. Friendly staff. Looks pretty empty of customers on a Sunday arvo.
Smaller than most David Jones stores but still has a pretty good variety considering it's in a small shopping centre.
This is Australia's oldest and most prestigious shopping destination in Malvern CBD Melbourne; it is considered a premier shopping experience. You'll be spoilt for choice in the men's and women's department. The store is huge, five floors I think. Most of the high end brands are found here, so yes, it's pricey.
A pleasure to shop there. High quality goods and very professional service in all areas. The food hall is small but very tempting.
Why are staff so stuck up and unhelpful. Staff think there working for Gucci or something. Everytime I go in I feel like staff are sizing me up quickly and determining based on there assumptions on what I am wearing or look like to determin if I have money that staff will or will not help me find what I need
