They didn't have the parts for my unit, yet I still got charged the call out fee. I clearly specified the unit. Waste of money! When I sourced the part they wouldn't install it, so I did it myself, only to find It wasn't diagnosed correctly, so I fitted a new ignitior and fixed ($20)!

Extremely disappointed and very upset at the amount of work I had to do on my own. 

How does it get to this point! I won't ever use you again, shame on you.

shocking shocking after service...came out to service our air con, no probs there apparently!!!!  After they left the unit would not turn on...Called them only got answering machine this was a Friday so no one available till Monday at the start of a scorching hot week. Finally got someone on Monday morning, sorry don't work after 4pm sorry cant come now sorry not our prob , very unhelpful office personnel . Husband had to leave work for two hours to get home for someone to come only to find out that the first guy hadn't re connected a wire to turn the unit on. 
Wouldn't recommend or use them again..read the reviews & believe the bad ones , nothing nice to say about these people

I am genuinely shocked by the number of negative reviews here. Over the last 20 years I have used this business to regularly service my ducted heater, evap cooler and had a new hot water system installed and serviced also. I have never had any issues with any of the guys who have come out. They have been polite, helpful in answering any questions and I cannot fault the work. I even had one chap throw in a bit of extra maintenance work on my old hot water system when I was unable to relight it myself. He felt sorry for the call out fee on something so minor so spent some extra time servicing it which he didn't have to do. I would agree that they aren't cheap but I have found the expense to be worth it.

Just spent nearly $2000 on a new hot water heater after having to wait four days for install.  Guys that came were good but we smelt gas a couple of days later so called them back to check for leaks. Young guy turns up and tells me i will be charged for anything that takes him over 15 mins. Then leaves without turning on the water heater again so hubby has now been trying for an hour to light it again with no success.  Seriously wish I had read the reviews first. Will definitely not be using them again.

Heater broke down at the worst time possible during a family function at my parents home. Called Darebin Gas after 8pm on a friday night. A friendly young man was over within the hour and repaired the heater with no fuss. The after hours fee was reasonable and the great service made it worth while. All my relatives over that night were very impressed. We highly recommend this reputable, long serving company. Thanks again.
