Probably the biggest & best out of all the stores. The variety is massive with every type of drink you can think of coming from many regions around the world. Prices quite competitive with woolies dominating the alcohol sales industry, it's amazing they don't make more money as their logistics cost are very high either way it's great store

Purchased some drinks at Dan Murphy’s with the knowledge that you can return if unopened. Purchased online and collected at the Brighton store. Went to return the items at the Brighton store and was told that I would just have to leave items at counter and trust that they will refund. No paperwork, no receipts no emails nothing. 13 days on and I contacted customer service who said you just need to wait longer, when I asked how long, response was “is there anything else I can help you with”” and then the agent ended my chat. Absolutely unacceptable customer service, especially for a company of this size.
There is something about Dan Murphy's that exists outside of time. You walk in and something shifts — a membrane between the present and some older, darker, more wood-panelled version of Australia parts around you like a curtain.nnIt smells like 1987. Not unpleasantly. Just honestly. The particular bouquet of cardboard wine boxes, refrigerated beer, and institutional carpet that triggers in me a cellular memory of being nine years old, watching my father load the boot of a Holden Commodore with enough product to see him through the week.nnHe was a man of routine. Filling up the cellar on the way home from work. Every Friday. Sometimes he filled up his secretary too. Not at the same time.nnThe staff are friendly in the way that people are friendly when they have genuinely made peace with their environment and decided to be present in it. The selection is excellent. Whatever obscure corner of the wine world you've decided to explore at eleven on a Tuesday, Dan Murphy's has anticipated you.nnIt is not glamorous. It has never claimed to be. It is a place that has looked at glamour, considered it briefly, and decided that what people actually need is range, price, and the warm familiarity of somewhere that has always been here and probably always will be.nnFour stars. My father would have approved. Probably did.
Totally disgusted . I came into your store today and was after one of your bottles of of whiskey . Priced at over $5000.00 in your show case , I was standing in one isle and waited for someone to approach me . Some one did come and decided to helpnA couple which came in after me , they were dressed nicely and were severed with grace . I was still waiting . After they were served I thought I would be next . But no, a man wearing a suit which had just walked in got served by the same man straight away . This man that serving actually walked behind me to serve this other man . Totally ignoring me . I’m sorry I was only wearing a pair of jeans and a top with runners , which probably means at Dan Murphy’s just ignore these people . That’s fine I ended up going to Nicks wine Merchants and gladly purchased from there where they were happy to help me . And gladly took $12000.00 for my purchases . I will never put one foot in one of your stores
