Avoid this motel like the plaque, overpriced. Correct me if I wrong your fatigued, would automatically when you check into a room. Look for a tiny warning sign about the safety of the showers. Came in absolutely wrecked, saw the towels on the bed. In front of towels small card saying please use other towel for pool. Headed straight for much needed shower. As soon I saw the showers, I like look dangerous - tried to take extra caution. As I stepping out taking again extra care, soap slid under my foot came crushing down hard. Fortunate did not splitting much head open. Resulted busted ribs & 2 cancelled competitions. Plus lost my employment due to recovery. Management response there a sign in front of the mirror - the sign should be placed in front the towels. Zero care factor.nThe price range explains other comments on here about the mattress. Under the sheets was a cheap & nasty & old mattress.nSo you a frail, elderly or wobbly avoid like the plaque.
The room was quite nice although the towels could have been thicker! Unfortunately the room next door was having a get together so it was a little noisy as they were outside on their veranda. The bed was firm although a little bouncy.
My wife and I were having car troubles and managed to get a room with these wonderful people. After a really bad day with the car it was so nice to find such gem's of people. The room was very clean and tidy, the meal they brought to our room was superb, the pool was very clean and the location was fantastic. Highly recommended.
I had to stay here for a work trip to the gas fields. It was honestly a great surprise. The food was unexpected good at the restaurant and not something you would expect in a town like Dalby for a reasonable price. The hosting family are very friendly and easy to get along with. I hear they are getting new owners and hope they keep the same standard.
A true gem! The rooms are spacious, very well appointed and extremely comfortable. We travel a lot and don't often find rooms with toasters and microwaves! The motel restaurant has a varied menu and the food is delicious as in 'good home cooking'!nnWhat makes a great difference is the friendliness of the owners. Diane and David extend a huge welcome and nothing is too much trouble for them. Highly recommend.
