I wish they had more variety, and some of the food seems to be from frozen, but it's very good value and the service is consistently good. I would avoid the hotpots as the quality of the meat/seafood is not good and does not justify the price... the barbecue is better but somewhat expensive. Stone bowl foods are quite nice, as well as the seafood pancake. Also the cold noodle soup

Dae Jang Kum offers the best value meal in Chatswood. $10 for more food than any reasonable person can eat. I had to ask them to limit the food and I still could not eat all of it. I enjoyed it and will return.

Felt like having ginseng chicken and we decided to give this a try. I must admit I had reservation about this place cuz it was also set up for karaoke so food might not be its strength. But the ginseng chicken soup was so tasty and satisfying, as was the grilled Karl I beef. The kimchi pancake was also a pleasant surprise too. The venue is a bit run down as the sofa arm rest was torn with large piece of upholstery missing. Not a place to impress your friends or others. But the food was definitely not a let down.

Be careful at this place!!! I was threatened by kitchen staff and verbally abused by the female manager. Went there for karaoke after a dinner somewhere else, because the food here is rubbish. Called up and booked for 10 people, i asked if there was a bathroom attached to our room, to which they replied yes. I was assured that there was a english/chinese menu. Paid 120 for 2 hrs. Got in the room to find it was really small and no toilet. I asked the staff if we could have the bigger room with the toilet, they said this was the biggest and that no karaoke rooms in australia has a bathroom. I asked for a discounted rate per hour which resulted in 2 kitchen staff tried to fight my elderly father and i. The lady manager quickly turned up and started abusing our whole group, we quickly realised how the situation was about to turn nasty and we all left before someone got hurt. We are a group of non alcohol drinking christians.
