Great place to have a drink and a decent pub meal. Food quality does seem to have dropped off in the past 3 or 4 months. Pricing is fair but has risen quite significantly recently. For the most part staff are friendly and welcoming however could be significantly improved. Overall the convenience of its location is what it benefits from the most but a still a good pub that I have visited for years.

I've been here several times before and now I noticed that their pricing has significantly increased. Food quality never changed a bit though. Still a good pub somehow

Perfectly adequate place to take a drink, various smoking options, curious menus from their kitchen. Cloudiest Kirin on tap I have ever seen! Try the leather couches and the small balcony arches for sitting with a smoker are my picks for the space. Much improved than when I once attended in the 1990s, Chatswood generally is miraculously transformed.

It's like all Australian pubs, I think they must have a factory in China. The lack of atmosphere was not compensated for by overloud music. It is very popular, other patrons gave the impression of enjoying themselves and the food is tasty.

Last night I went to the orchard with a group of friends and the server mistakenly brought the wrong food to our table, we accepted as our group was large we were unsure what was ordered. Following our meal the manager came over aggressively accusing us of stealing and that we have to pay for the food brought as their mistake. Having worked in hospitality for a long time I know that this is extremely bad customer service and if staff makes a mistake unfortunately the business has to be responsible, it does not become the customers fault. After I calmly explained how he was in the wrong, he told me to piss off and went to another manager who came and told us to “man up and pay the bill”. For this to occur in such a large venue is surprising however it seems the management of this place have no clue on hospitality and service. It doesn’t take a genius to read a table number and only an idiot is too proud to admit their fault reflecting a horrible image for their workplace.
