Story

We are a cycle retail and workshop. We are located in the heart of Mt Maunganui, in the recently upgraded Central Parade block of shops.
We cater for a full range of customers. From the little ones getting thier first bike, to the racers.
We focus alot of our energy into supporting the local bike clubs and sponsorship of the top athletes in the area.

Always a great experience shopping with Cycle O for all your bike needs. MTB, Road, BMX, DJ etc. A proactive and knowledgeable team who care about the customers needs and situation. They listen and work out the best outcome to any issues I've had. There is a reason I've been using them as my local bike shop since 2012 and travel across town for all my servicing and purchasing needs.

Have bought all my bikes from Cycle Obsession over the years. All the guys a very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Awesome after sales service and advise. Look after and support the privately owned local bike shops
Team at Obsession put a work component <2° angle headset on my Trek Roscoe 2019 to slacken her up.. Great comms through emails answering some questions I had about the gear and once I received the set in from the UK it was seamless to book bike in/get the job done. Quality workmanship and professionalism-all done on time. I have spent a bit of time around different bike shops talking to staff about their services and I have to say without taking away anything from the other bike shops in town -they are all sweet in there own rite!!, the Management and Team at Obsession have got it really going on as far as Customer service/loyalty is concerned, and if I were buying a new bike I would seriously consider these guy as the number one player as far as after sales Customer service goes. They really back themselves and their product snd it's awesome to see! ***Plug time...and yes I promised Works Components I would put the word out because I am so happy with their gear...Works Components UK hooked me up with a mean headset for my Roscoe and I have to say it's turned this bike into A BEAST!! Anyone with a Roscoe out there who wants some more slack check these guys out-their service and product is exceptional! I emailed them my model bike to check the set required for my bike and they came back-all on the money!!!! Am now looking at upgrading the fork to a Yari and I will definitely be knocking on Obsessions door to get this all fitted/setup for me!!!! Went in today and they gave me some great advice on travel length of fork on the upgrade coming Cheers CO Team!!!! Isaac T.
Been going to cycle obsession for several years now. They are very knowledgeable on all bike stuff as you expect, and do have the personal touch getting to know their customers names and what they are looking for.. the perfect local bike shop.
Big thanks to Kris, Kane and Luke. Team did a great job. Communication was great and needs were fulfilled. I will definitely be supporting local. Highly recommend.
