Cumberland High School

Story

Cumberland High School is a co-educational comprehensive secondary school (high school) located in the north-western metropolitan Western Sydney region of New South Wales, Australia.HistoryCumberland High School opened in January 1962 with an initial intake of 270 students in First Form . This student cohort commenced high school under the Wyndham Scheme, which extended New South Wales high school from five to six years and placed a greater emphasis on science and mathematics. The foundation headmaster was George Heery, who was responsible for the selection of the original school colours, the school motto "Finis Coronat Opus", and the Cumberland school song.In addition to students from Carlingford, early students were drawn from as far afield as Pennant Hills, West Pennant Hills, and Beecroft to the north; from Epping, Ermington and Rydalmere to the east; from Dundas, Dundas Valley and Telopea to the south; and North Parramatta to the south-west. Subsequently, the student catchment area contracted with the establishment of nearby high schools, particularly Castle Hill High School, Pennant Hills High School, Carlingford High School, and Muirfield High School .

I strongly beg you not to go there because theres a lot of racist kids there, as well as bullying. Most students don't care about other people's feelings and simply harass other students online, which is horrible.
don’t send your kids here they’ll suspend them if they wear the wrong socks 3 times
I went to this school in the '00s and have very fond memories. The school and teachers always went out of their way to ensure a safe and engaging learning environment that was tailored to each student's learning needs and interests. The school had a strong sporting culture and would have annual gala days with James Ruse and Wauchope High. The school takes in all students from its catchment. It is in between Ruse and Kings and yet manages to encourage a strong work ethic in its students. Classes are also streamed and so gifted students are extended. Great school :
excellent school, my son Eric moved from New Zealand, and he said that the teachers made him comfortable and helped build up his confidence. much appreciated
A great school! So many opportunities to become involved in COSfest Film festival, Science Inspire Program, Music, Debating/Mock Trials, Sport, Cumberland Café and so much more! I love it here!

Went into their science lab for experiments and stuff as sciency as year 6 science can get. From my first impressions i can say that it looks a bit dank in there.
The underlying issues with the school are hidden they could have changed principal but the 5/1 rating is self explanatory!
if u love ur kids don’t send them to this school they love to suspend their students
