Fantastic chips. They have to be some of the best in Brisbane - or perhaps Qld. Mind you, when we bought them a couple of days ago they were strangely yellow, as though there had be dye in the oil. Hopefully that was a one-off, because we’ve never noticed it before.

Owner and staff are very friendly. Although the wait was a bit long, I was very satisfied with the meal. Hope to improve cooking faster to avoid people waiting too long.

Truly an amazing traditional fish & chip shop. The owner and staff are always smiling and welcoming. The food is sensational always. The chips are the best around as far as I’m concerned. The crumbed cod is always perfect and the best old school steak sandwich in town hands down. Always perfectly tender steak. If only pubs could do food like this at this price. I’ve been going to this shop for many years and I stand by my review.
Very disappointed with the cod & chips we bought for dinner. I think the chips had been in the fryer for way too long, they were dry & the potato inside was nearly none existent & unfortunately, the cod was no better. This is the second time I've been here; the first was a similar experience, but not as bad, so I thought we would give them another go as they are local & it could have been a one-off.

Everything about this place was amazing. The view, the service and staff and most importantly the food. So delicious. Will so be back when we return to Darwin.
Called them 15 minutes before arriving to their shop . Once there, they "lost " my order, waited for over 35" for 1 fish 1 chips... Definitely not worth the wait, chips super soggy and fish over greasy, like dripping ... No time management and not great food overall .. Sorry would not recommend that place .
