Trying to avoid a sexual inuedno but for those who are more of a bottom, there is certainly a very thick top! Decent flavour but a more hearty filling with less top is called for. I would agree with the other post that $13 is overpriced for what is a foil dish of oats and powder with a splash of fruit hidden in the depths of it's crumble grave.
By golly this place is delicious. Staff are so friendly and you can customize your crumble the way you like it.
Absolutely delicious dessert offering in a great location. This shop alpes allows you to combine a base and various types of crumble then puts it together under the grill and serves with sauce and ice cream. There are over 300 different innovative combinations to select but unfortunately it seems to confuse things! At $13 it is not cheap. Really tasty but I think the business model needs refinement.
Brilliant idea allowing customers to build their own crumbles. Endless possible combinations of filing, crumble topping, ice cream and sauce. Staff are polite and eager to help out, service was fast and overall good atmosphere eating in with take aways also available.
The humble apple crumble is the finally the star of the show. Crumble Top takes the crumble you know and love to a whole new level, with all different flavors of fillings and ice cream, it makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside. Crumble Top is definitely the place to after a great dinner to finish off a great night.
I mean let's be honest - decadent and delicious. There are so many options to choose from, you can customise almost every aspect of the crumble. There are more and less traditional options, and the staff are really helpful and nice about answering any questions or making any allowable modifications. My only complaints as a health nut who is Vegan and doesn't normally eat refined sugar is the scarcity of vegan options, and the overwhelming sweetness and richness of the crumble. To be fair to them, my mate who loves apple crumble was able to eat his entire crumble and half of mine, but as someone who hasn't really had any sugar for a couple of years, it was incredibly sweet for me. To clarify, I was here on request for my mate's birthday Re: why was a sugar-avoiding vegan even in this place?
Amazing variety of crumbles! The fact you get to customise your own is just amazing. Luke the owner is very informative and polite, he truely has a passion for his business and wants each customer to have a unique experience !
If you're a fan of crumbles, you have to come here! Plenty of flavours to choose from, ample sauce and ice cream included. I mean, what's a crumble without some lube. Lube joke aside, this place is worth a visit if you've got a sweet tooth.
Truly one of the worst crumbles I have ever eaten. I can't believe I paid $13.99 for a dry mouthful of poorly integrated stewed apple and rhubarb topped with dry oats, presented with toxic coloured pandan and coconut ice-cream. For $5 I could have made a better crumble. I have never felt quite so ripped off.
Came here twice in one night. Had the crem brûlée of the week and then came back with my boyfriend and he order a DIY crumble top. Such a good idea to finish your night on king street! Not the biggest space inside but there is seating out the back. So yummy!!
