The presentation of the shop itself was lovely but after ordering we then sat down to a dirty table which I had to clean myself with a wet wipe after seeing all the tables were dirty except the reserved ones. During our meal time no tables were cleaned. After a little wait the the tea was delivered but the cup was dirty on the outside. The meal was nicely presented.
Tasty food. Loyalty cards + Senior Card Discount. Delicious Coffee. Newspapers available.
Place was clean, staff lovely but the food left a lot to be desired. Air fried chips should not mean dehydrated, burnt, air dried and cold by the time they had sucked the life from a once fluffy, tasty potato. Massively disappointed especially when the food at other Crema Espressos is what makes you keep going back.
This was my favourite place to go in Grand Central. However the last four times have been awful. Staff lounging about chatting instead of bringing orders half of whichnever arrived . Had to go find someone to get the rest. Sandwich toasted so it's only coloured and cheese hard and cold inside. Get coffee then wait for twenty minutes for scone. We went backthree times after the first episode to give them the benefit of the doubt. Won't ever go there again.
I really enjoy coffee and I only drink decaf. That means I only drink it for the taste. My family and I have had coffee here many times and it is usually OK. Today I ordered a decaf long black with a shot of milk a white coffee, that I had to explain to the waitress and my daughter had a hazelnut milkshake. The milkshake arrived first with the school aged young waitress with dirty blonde hair basically throwing the milkshake on the table, quickly turning her back on us and prancing away without a word. The coffee was next after a lengthy wait I took a sip and promptly spat it back in the cup. It was the most sour coffee I have ever had! Now as I said I drink decaf all the time and I know that they do not sell as much decaffeinated coffee as regular so sometimes the coffee can be a little old and sour. But this was way beyond belief, then my 10 year old daughter told me that her milkshake tasted like chemicals so I had a sip and "YES" I tasted like a chemical cocktail. Almost like they had left a spoonful of detergent in the metal container that it was served in. I took the drinks back promptly and told them the problems. I received no apology, however a woman who identified herself as the business owner came to my table and said "What's wrong with the drinks? I made the coffee perfectly." I explained to her that decaf is sometimes sour if the beans are not fresh. She then told me that there was nothing wrong with the beans and reiterated that she had made the coffee perfectly. She offered to replace the drinks and my daughter got a caramel milkshake and I asked for a refund on the coffee. The owner said "I am not giving a refund on the coffee. I made it perfectly" I told her that she should not take it personally. After a few minutes the milkshake arrived with the same waitress as before and again she literally just dropped the milkshake on the table spun around and walked off without even a nod. So if you enjoy good service happy staff and great drinks you should go somewhere anywhere else.
Wonderful staff, food was yummy and the supervisor was absolutely amazing fixing an issue we has with our drinks. She was so bright and bubbly and welcoming, we will definitely be back
Poor service, had the waitress roll her eyes at me and had attitude. Very expensive food. Ordered a coffee, waited approx 20 minutes, turns out 'they gave my coffee to someone else'. Incompetent staff, will never go back.
$15.50 for a sub-par burger with a rotten tasting patty and you don't even get a side of chips or anything at that price? Wait times were ridiculous for how quiet it was.
Expensive & medium strength coffee but it tastes OK. $6.80 for a large black coffee with syrup. That's a lot for boiling water, no milk and a cashier with a blank stare and an "I don't care" attitude. Perhaps the take away cup was worth 3 bucks?
Coffee is always beautifully presented and tastes perfect! Staff are amazing and the owner is brilliant! Highly recommend their range of light meals also it's my go-to cafè for anything. Wouldn't go anywhere else
