Staff nice enough but I think the chicken in my burger would be better suited dog chews. I could not even break some parts off with my fingers. Maybe some fans outside would be good as flies were buzzing around like we were in the outback. I should have worn my hat with the corks on it. After this experience I would probably not return and prefer to try elsewhere.
Unfortunately its just another Coffee Club, like most franchise they are very same same copy paste. The place is clean and tidy and the staff were polite and accommodating. I ordered a special limited time offer, coffee and scrambled egg wrap with a tomato relish. As someone who doesn't like tomato sauce all i could say was the relish smothered the taste of the wrap as it was spread on the inside of it. My partner had the smashed avo with a poached egg and said it was fine. I know better if we go back there now. If you like what the Coffee Club offers i don't think you will be disappointed.
Service was terrible, partner received his meal, had chase up 3 staff members for drinks and remind them we had another meal for our table to which there was only two of us. After another half hour wait and my partner having finished his meal they finally brought my food out to which it was cold. They couldn’t even take his dirty plate off the table in the process. I understand it was busy but there was people who walked in after us who received both drink and food before us. There was No apologies for being so slack with service and staff were extremely unhelpful.
Awful experience. We were told that food's going to take 30 mins so we're like yeah that's fine. After 45 mins my partner's food arrives, and the server asks if I ordered anything and I said yes. She went back and brought the wrong food so I told her that I did not order the eggs Benedict. Now we wait for another 10 mins for them to make my food which is the haloumi bowl. We're so hungry and my partner's food is now cold. My food finally arrives, and its missing fresh avo and the tomato relish. I had to call the server and ask for it. Food wasn't that great as it looked like it was made in a rush. Haloumi pieces were so hard. The veggie patty was really oily. The server was apologetic and she offered free drinks but we're not really feeling it because we already finished our drinks and we're already full. There's also no table water which should be a standard. I also did not finish my food coz it was really bad, I did enjoy the fried eggs though. This was Saturday morning but the place wasn't full at all. They gave us 20% discount which is $5 for the inconvenience and for making us wait for an hour
We used to go to the Coffee Club regularly, since the renovations we are sad to say we won't go back. We went for dinner last night with friends, and both the Diane and Mushroom gravy tasted like tomato sauce mixed with cream all food was average to say the least, friend ordered a softdrink, 20minutes later very few customers she still didn't get her drink. Very disappointing as this restaurant was a favourite of ours but we definitely won't go back.
Had a nice cold iced coffee and shared a tasty nachos with no meat. Both very good. Friendly prompt service, crunchy nachos with plenty of toppings...great stop over before continuing onto Brisbane...
Very ordinary food, service and surroundings. The premises are tired and in need of some TLC. Wait staff seemed like they were either, new and in training which is fine or didn't have a clue what they were doing. Kitchen staff kept up a running dialogue in a foreign language which was audible throughout the restaurant. Food order was served well apart, my breakfast flat grill was just "plonked" on the plate. No presentation at all, just three pieces of flat grill. Actual flat grill was full of hard, grissly sp? pieces of bacon. Orange juice was long-life and probably at its use by date. Very disappointing visit to The Coffee Club. We used to have breakfast here quite often but will rethink our options in future.
Food was great, toilets were disgusting and no soap. made staff aware and was told soap had not been delivered…….could not a supermarket run have been done to purchase a soap on tap until delivery . I dread to think what the staff do . We did mention this to staff and nothing was done . Makes one wonder about the kitchen
Extremely slow and to busy talking to other staff rather then serving customers, rude and don’t know how to approach people to take orders. Need to do better, definitely not coming back until I hear something good come out of this place.
Food was ok. Everyone's hot drinks were tepid. Had to ask for cutlery and then wait 10 mins for it to arrive
