Stopped in for a lunch option. Not a lot of options this time but understandable given it was the first day back from the public holidays. Renovations are underway and looking forward to seeing the end result.
By far the best doughnuts in Christchurch. The fresh sandwiches and rolls the offer here are really great and good value compared to other places.
So much to choose from -baked goods paradise! Finally decided on 2 family sized pies steak & cheese & chicken & veges a loaf of fresh bread & a packet of ginger kisses-couldn't resist! This all cost only $24 Had the pies for tea that nite & demolished the ginger kisses The pies were delicious-full of meat & so tasty & excellent pastry
Definitely the countries largest bakery with such a massive range of bulk and small baked goods to suit all tastes. They also have a windowed look inside to the bakery a small part of it to see what goes on behind the scenes. Parts of the bakery on display did look a bit grimey though .
Omg this place rocks. Great food selection, coffee and cakes. We love swinging by for a treat. Kids and I love it before our ski days. Great service and well priced.
Big changes in store. Served by a young lad. Went to put stuff in pag not realizing he hadnt scanned the last item i had put in bag. A grunted grumble with a look of discust is no way to communicate to customer. Other wise no other issue
The Couplands factory store obviously has the wide range that you would expect. They have a good selection of sandwiches, filled rolls, wraps, fresh doughnuts, cream buns, hot pies and savouries avaliable throughout the morning and over lunch. But the selection starts to run out by early afternoon.
Worst service possible was waiting in line behind counter ,second in line in a newly opened till was told to go to the back if the line in the opposite counter dumped my food in disgust at the service had already been waiting for service ten minutes absolutely will not support this store again floor's where disgusting coffee stand unstaffed pies burned to a crisp, drinks not cold, warm milk, selling goods already written off as a loss for taxation gardens full of rubbish and Windows dirty, goodluck is all I can say couplands cheap bland food most of which is either 50 percent fat or sugar, trick or treat or diabetes patronizing staff
Always a great place to pick up lunch and treat items . Fabulous food and staff are lovely and very helpful.
Strange product layout but so long as it tastes as good as I does who cares and decent staff too.
