Story

We are a family owned and operated bakery with a European flair.

After meeting at this very shop, we then returned 20 years later to purchase and set up Bakermans.

Today, Bakermans is known for being much more than a Kiwi bakery. From tasty quiches to chicken croquettes, caramel slice to Dutch apple pie we've got something to please every palatte.

I've been there several times to buy fruit tart or pie and coffee to takeaway mostly first time to have a sit and chat with friend.2:50pm Staffs are not really friendly and about the closing time3:40pm making noisy to put the chairs on the table loudly. Mabye I don't want to go there anymore.Food: 4/5
Came here for lunch with a friend. Have given 3 stars as the bakery is clean and has plenty of seating and seems to be well run, however, with such a large selection of food, it would have been good to see just one vegan thing available. Just coffee for my lunch. It's a shame really, and on asking whether there could be a vegan option in the future, the answer was "not likely ". Dietary restrictions: Unfortunately nothing available that uis animal product free
Best coffee and best horseradish sandwich ever...this is the place to start your day..service is quick and with a smile..always busy but you can find a table.Food: 5/5

Our favourite cafe in town. So many things to choose from their cabinets and also nice coffee as well.
Yes the food is great its a pity the service from what I assume is the manager isnt as great. His staff are friendly however he can be abrupt and rude. Not friendly at all and almost comes across as not wanting to be there.Food: 3/5
Very good food! Chicken croquets fabulous. Very busy and loud inside. Outdoor seating. Clean and bright surroundings. Carpark belongs to all shops. Depending on time car parks available. Good toilets.

Please don’t ever ever go there, the bald headed freak that served my family was rude, loud, and barbaric. He seemed very disgusted with serving us. All of the food were cold, hard, and awful. As a baker who works at a high end bakery this is bloody embarrassing. When he delivered the food to our table he was aggressive and chuck sharp cutleries on the table not thinking how it could him someone and injure them. Chuck the awaiting order number on the table and just violently slammed the food on the table. I went there on 26th May at 9:01 am and i’m very disgusted by the service. This was a one and done situation for me.
